OK, so I said I'd only post this method if people were interested in my so-called soundtrack method, but hey, I just realized that this is my 100th post, so I wanna make it something worthwhile.
This method may require you to invest in extra memory cards for your cell phone.
You will also need a CPA affiliate account or a blog with adsense. OK, preferably both.
Oh, and this works best if you live in a major city or are willing to travel.
The method is simple: Go to a music concert, tape it and record it, and upload several (read: dozens) short one-song (2-3-minute) clips on Youtube as bait to drive traffic either to a CPA landing page or a blog with adsense on it (and possibly more CPA).
Step 1: Find Out What concerts are in your area
This should be self-explanatory. If you don't know how to do it then you haven't been properly introduced to Google.
Choose one that features POPULAR musicians - not "The Dingbats". And preferably music you like - you're gonna be there so you might as well enjoy it.
Step 2: Buy memory cards for your cellphone
I would tell you to buy a camcorder, but they are rather expensive and you never know what might happen in the middle of a concert. Cell phones are battle-rated for toughness and easier to carry.
If you don't have extra memory cards, though, I recommend you get at least 512MB's worth. 1Gig would be even better. Or 2. Heck, just get as much as you can afford (within reason), it's for a good cause.
Go to Concert and Tape
It's not as easy as it sounds to tape a concert, but after a few minutes you should be fine. The hardest thing is to keep the band in focus while holding the phone above your head and to keep it above your head.
Note that what bands do in between songs (i.e. if they talk to the audience or jam or play unreleased solos or something) can get you just as much views as the rest. So if you have a bladder to be ashamed of then try these (very blackhat)
Get video from cellphone into a common format
MPG, WMV, AVI are all good. I think most cell phones record as AVI, which is great, so if it's in that format don't change it just yet.
Isolate sound into different tracks
The point of this is to clean up the sound. There are several ways you can go about this, like using ffmpeg to create an mp3 out of your video.
Use WavePad or something similarly cheap to filter out background noise - to some extent. Remember that your viewers will expect a certain amount of background noise since you got this at a concert, live, but they want to hear the music, not your drunk friend singing "god save the queen".
Import Sound and Video into Windows Movie Maker
Use the mixer to mute the video's original soundtrack and use your edited version instead.
Now cut the video up into clips. One for each song and one for each interesting bit between songs is good.
Add a watermark to the videos with your blog/landing page's URL.
Upload Videos
Needless to say, make sure to include plenty of keywords about the concert.
A little trick you can use is to copy-paste a press release about the concert into the description. Youtube loves wordy descriptions.
Also, add an annotation at the beginning and end of each clip saying "For more clips of this concert and free MP3 downloads, please visit our site >>" near the watermark.
How much can you make?
Bucketloads. Seriously. People go crazy over concerts. For example, see this:

This video is Bruce Springsteen giving a street concert in Copenhagen. I don't know when the concert was, and I think that this video was actually a re-post since I think I remember seeing a similar video with a prior submit date on it, but the point is it's had over half a million views.
Just do the math: A 10% CTR on that, and then 5% conversion on a CPA offer that pays $1/lead gives $2500.
And that's just one song. If you went to a whole concert you'd have at least 3 or 4 to post. So that would give you a total of maybe $7000 for the one concert. And just a weekend worth of work (the concert itself doesn't count
