Money. Деньги. पैसे. Call it what you want but unless you are a communist, Gandhi or Bill Gates that is probably the only reason you would ever visit a forum like this. The pursuit of wealth is the most common desire amongst the World’s population and it’s what brings people here, to BlackHatWorld. Journey threads are prevalent, yet the one thing they lack is the one thing that is most important for success: Ambition.

Where is the real ambition? Why settle for “$10 per day passive income”, “My journey to $100/ day” or even “$1,000 every day” when the sky is literally your limit? I’m sure that most of you are working towards a goal in your mind but, just for a moment, stop and think to yourself: Is that what I really want?

Marketing is a cut-through industry where even your closest friends can become your biggest competitors overnight, which is why being alert and constantly on the lookout for new opportunities is incredibly important if you want to stay ahead of the game! As the year draws to an end I want each one of you to post your goal for next year down below, but before you do, think to yourself: Will you REALLY be happy once you achieve it?

When I first started out making websites for fun a few years ago, I made the promise to myself that, on my seventeenth birthday (Which coincidentally is next year) I will buy myself a Bentley Continental Mulliner. I've made my goal known with my close friends and family and, no matter how funny they think it is, I fully intend to carry it out. That's been my goal since I was twelve, and it will continue to be my goal until the day that I supersede it.

Setting a crazy and outlandish goal like that is what it takes to stay motivated in the often depressing world of internet marketing, and life in general, and over my time here I've seen some fantastic threads about people buying their very own house with their earnings, others saving the life's of their pets or loved ones, and other people who go out of their way to sort out other's issues and be all-around nice people.

I don't know either. I just started typing and look what happened.

My goal is to help my sister start her own business. She is too smart to work for Walmart, and she hates retail.

It'll also count as another income stream for me, and I'm all for that.

Edit: As to happiness, I'm already there. This is stuff I'm doing to help other people so they can be happy.

    Now stop posting weird stuff.

"Such a waste of talent. He chose money over power. In this town, a mistake nearly everyone makes. Money is the McMansion in Sarasota that starts falling apart after 10 years. Power is the old stone building that stands for centuries. I cannot respect someone who doesn't see the difference."

@alwaysinvisible That's a noble goal! Why not teach her SEO and then get her to proposition her manager or someone high up with and offer they can't refuse.

@Sherbert Hoover Interesting quote. If not by money, how do you measure power? Personally, I think that in the vast majority of cases anyway, money gives you power. The power to work with who you like, when you like, where you like. The power to take your family on holiday or make a difference in your community. The power to price out a competitor or take a short-term hit in earnings for a long-term boost.

Walmart is a national chain in America. Google it. It's huge. It practically rules America. It's just awful.

She's just a cog in the machine bro.

Also she hates SEO and Google in general. And she wants to deal with the customer as little as possible. So we found something that she can do that isn't going to make her have a nervous breakdown.

I know what Walmart is ;) What I meant was maybe store managers have a budget or something they can spend on marketing, but seeing as she doesn't like all that it doesn't matter much anyway.

No, WM SEO is handled by the corporation. They have a department for that.

Thanks for the suggestion though. :)

You should keep in mind that there are countries where $300/month represent a good amount of monthly revenue.

For instance, I'd consider $1000/month living like a king, at least in my country.

Monies don't bring happiness, but they create the comfort which makes you prone to being happy, they bring you freedom.

Are you more prone to smile/laugh as a homeless guy or living the "5 stars lifestyle" with 10 hot bitches on a yacht like Dan Bilzerian even though I'm not really excited about the latter either.

But, ultimately monies don't bring happiness. Otherwise, why would (some) famous stars get into depression and commit suicide? Aren't they supposed to be happy since they are rich and popular?

I also think that our purpose is to constantly be able to strive for something. Let's say you're getting your Bentley. Will your life be complete? No, you'll be excited, you'll probably want to show off to your family/friends, but in the end, you'll be looking for something else to target.

If I'm not happy and proud of myself when I'm earning $300, then I won't be happy even if I'd earn $30000. I may get excited at first, but in the end, it will be the same thing.

Also, it's funny how you mentioned about main reason being here is earning cash, even though most of the newbies/people in general, spend more time on blackhat lounge than working on a method/learning a skill. (I used to be one too)

Re ambition: I think reaching your goal is more about your habits rather than motivation.

    Cutting TV
    Cutting Facebook
    Cutting Youtube(entertainment side)
    Cutting Video Games
On the extreme side even cutting real life connections( that's hard).
    etc.

Sorry if my post is too cringy, it's just how I make them when I write long posts.

Agree money doesn't necessarily mean happiness. I can remember plenty of times where I have been at my happiest points without a penny to my name.

But it does quite often help.

How close were you to achieving your goal before 2017? Are you growing your income 1x, 5x, 100x?
