how many of you have encountered this.
you have a channel with a good amount of views coming in and good growth everyday and for several months.
for example you get maybe 50k to 100k views a day also gaining 300 to 500 subs say etc and you keep getting this kind of good growth for several months and ur content is all similar so it's gets suggested the same way for long and then suddenly out the blue there is a catastrophic decline in suggested views coming to your channel (in my book more like a shadowban), going from 50k to 100k views a day to just 300 to 3k views a day.
someone please shed light and explain this damn thing to me. I don't understand.
you've not changed content to something worse, you've not done anything wrong, it's the similar, interesting niche content that people still like to watch.
but out of the blue youtube decides to hit the stop switch and kill your channel.
I've read about a case where a channel used to get explosive growth for long but after they reached 3M subs, they got a sudden catastrophic decline in views and they got a permanent decline like 75 percent lesser views and they said it was reduced to the amount of views they used to get when they were like a 70k subs channel etc
aanybody with experience about YouTube please shed light on this. this is the one worst demotivating thing for me on youtube.
they suddenly decide to kill your channel.
too bad when we have to rely on another companies algorithm
is youtube even aware about this? is this a bug?
is this intentional?
because i honestly have no fucking CLUE!!
