Yeah it makes sense. It'll be interesting to see if we're different overtime in some other way we haven't even noticed yet.
But in the meantime, I can just keep an eye on all the older dudes who started using internet way before me.

Everything you learn and do rewires your bain.

Doctors in the UK took MRIs of taxi cab drivers who had just started driving cabs and then when they had learned the streets of London they had showed significant changes in brainwave activity.

It's all electricity in the brain. Whether it's affected by physical factors (the real world) or ephemeral ones (the online world), the result is the same - individual satisfaction or disappointment. They could have examined dog and cat owners and would've found brain differences as well. The question is 'so what'. Shall the (Chinese) kids get back to the sweat shops or keep slaying orcs? I for one am for less exploitation and more fun.

Same here, like I said, I'm not worried a bit about this. It was slightly surprising to read but apparently it's a little more common than I first imagined.

I noticed that it did have a profound effect on my brother. It seems like he is addicted to it like a drug.

How so? I would consider myself an internet addict. I don't get any sort of symptoms if I go a while without using it, but I try to use it as much as possible at all times.

its fine. our brain is trying to adapt with the changing lifestyle. Initially there will be problems, as this adaptation is very quick. In just 10 years, Internet has sucked people. But, slowly, after 40-50 years, people will be doing real miracles with internet, because by that time our brain would have adapted to internet lifestyle fairlely well, and instead of searching for PORNO people will be doing really constructive things with internet - like blackhaters :)

There was another study a little more dramatic regarding big G.

The rapidity of the access to any information leads to a lack of focus to any subject.

For exemple it becomes hard to read a book, isn't it ?

Personally, now i've some trouble to focus right on any task. And i consider myself as an internet addict without any hesitation.

The main difference between drug addicted and internet addicted is that drug ones wouldn't confess or tell they are addicted.
