The Indefinite Journey of a College Student -ECommerce Site- *$100 a Day* Greetings guys and gals. I've been lurking the forums for about a year now and decided it's time to create an account and start up my journey. I'm an average college freshmen that graduated from an average high school with an average GPA. I now think it's time to switch up the game and put an end to those average thoughts. For the past year I've been visiting this forum and reading your guys'/gals' genius ideas, guides, experiences trying to make the most out of the information on here. I started watching Youtube tutorials on Internet Marketing, reading all those "motivational" "money making dream" books trying to make the most out of the information everyday, motivating myself and chipping away at my goals one bit at a time, trying to balance schoolwork with the money hungry motivation. My current issue is I keep jumping and ditching niches/websites. The current niche I chose is not all that interesting to me but I'm dedicating myself to it now that I've started on the website regardless! I've told my ideas and visions to some of my friends and family and all I got was a chuckle and the "Get realistic" speech. Even my parents told me to "get real" and "stop reading BS online" and "get a real job," burning down all the work and ideas I've put into this basic dream of running a website and making my own income rather than relying on a job after I graduate college. So I think it's time to "get real" and put work into these dreams. I've decided to start up an Amazon affiliate website, with hand written reviews, high quality and mindful content. Since I lack the motivation to keep going I've decided to create this journey thread to help me along the ride. Currently I'm hardcore researching my niche; multiple pages of notes/ideas. I'm assuming this is the most boring and exhausting part. A learning experience for myself and the readers Success and failure (this will be my first time creating a site, popularizing, and working SEO) Current tasks:*(Learning SEO Methods) 1. Do deep and in depth keyword research 2. Create a high quality/trustworthy website 3. Start writing the best content and reviews imaginable/original (Along with links to the actual product) I have a plugin that allows me to grab the product content from the database, automatically generated pictures, reviews and comparisons. I know this is probably not the best idea because it is not original content (let me know what you guys/gals think) 4. Create an opt-in site on a separate domain that offers an ebook, if the visitor signs up for my newsletter and create an Email list of people interested in products with the similarity of the ebook. The Emails sent will give the latest coupons, discounts, topics on the product 5. Create tons of high quality blogs online with original content relating to my niche surrounding my sites. 6. Create and popularize a channel using "creative commons" (SillyWalks' $250 a Day Money Making Machine method) content rather than my own (I have no time to make my own videos). Eventually linking to my money site. 7. Create tons of social media accounts and attempt to popularize. Eventually will invest in a bot to do the work for me. (Will link to my high quality blogs) 8. Create tons of quality content on social sites by publishing threads, blogs, articles etc. With links to authority sites. 9. Once the structure is complete I will get a search engine ranker and create tons of backlinks to the above method of creating a fake "viral" effect. Once the articles are popular I will switch up the authority site links to my actual money site. Source: tommy's "Parasites PWN! -Leeching From Authority Sites- 10. Finally I will use the search engine ranker to create a bunch of links to my social media accounts, and blogs. How long do I think this will take me? No idea! My goal is to have everything set up and ready by the end of summer. (August) Any concerns, tips, recommendations are appreciated. I will use this thread to remind myself to keep going and remind myself of what I have to do. It will be like a daily, public journal with notes and random ideas! (I had to leave out some of the detail because it said it was against the rules) Current goal: Write high quality reviews on my money site about the products.
