I don't know if it's just me but in the last months i have noticed an increasing difficulty in getting backlinks indexed.
Last months ago it was quite easy to get a good indexing rate for low quality backlinks like forum profiles.
Now i can't find a solution that really works.
Feedlisting.com has gone and submitting feeds to other aggregators didn't give any results.
I tried BIE but it doesn't help too much since google since to stop indexing spam blog after few days.
I tried linklicious but it didn't help in improving indexing rate.
I tried to add backlinks to social boookmark but without decent results.

Is someone experiencing the same problem?

yes, i am too, so it's not just you!
I noticed this because I just bought 300 backlinks from "onehourbacklinks" advertised on this forum.
After 2 weeks, I not seen 1 new backlink (I know because I only had 3 to start with)

I tried putting the backlink report listing into a bulk pinger, and still nothing.

I am not buying any more backlink packets until I find out whats wrong

**thought** I think on my next site, I will use a new domain provider. Im thinking namecheap as they have a 2 domain package for $35 a YEAR

Waiting for some magic to do the work is indeed a bad way of running a business and yes I do approach IM as a business and so should you.

Ping those Backlinks, combine them into multiple feeds, submit those feeds, ping those feeds and hell you can even bookmark them.

pinging and rss just tells google to go look at those sites. it doesn't tell it that they are worth anything.

try backlinking your backlinks. put them into SB and send some links to all of them.

If your links aren't indexed, it doesn't mean that google didn't see them or that they won't count towards your website.

When google sees your page, it crawls it and gets out all the info it needs. Then IF the site is worth putting in the index, it does put it there, if not, it stays in its internal index that we don't have access to.

That's why most profile links that you do, even if they do get spidered, won't show up in the index. Because they don't offer any value to the user, they have no unique content, etc, so they don't belong in the index. But they are still in the google internal index and the links on these pages (pointing to your money site or wherever) are still seen by google.

Keep in mind that your links do NOT need to be indexed to help your SERPs. Just like nofollow links can rank terms, so can zero unindexed links.

I'd prefer more indexed links of course, but I think so little of it that I don't even look at the numbers. We rank terms for new clients every week with this high volume, low quality approach.

Maybe if you use yahoo links explorer, you can only find certain numbers of backlinks.
Majestic SEO seems to show more backlinks information. And I found that it confirmed some of the SERP movement.

I saw competitor A site has only 200 backlinks(rank1),mine has over 400 backlinks in yahoo explorer(rank2or3).
then when I look at ther backlinks in Majestic SEO,they have around 12k links.
    And mine only 2k links.

But the bad thing of majesticSEO is that they took longer to show the indexed links.
Anyone has some thoughts on MajesticSEO?
Market Samurai is utilising their database now.
