The illusion of greater competitiveness, efficiency and choice disguised under brand names subsidiaries (Ravebspyre)

ah.. so that explains those combination kfc+taco bell+pizza huts i see everywhere O__o

Also explain how the 1% hold 99% of wealth, nothing wrong with it off course...

This is another eye opener:
http://arxiv.org/PS_cache/arxiv/pdf/1107/1107.5728v2.pdf

"We find that only 737 top holders accumulate 80% of the control over the value of all TNCs"

"The top ranked actors hold a control ten times bigger than what could be expected based on their wealth."

"In detail, nearly 4/10 of the control over the economic value of TNCs in the world is held, via a complicated web of ownership relations, by a group of 147 TNCs in the core, which has almost full control over itself. The top holders within the core can thus be thought of as an economic "super-entity" in the global network of corporations. A relevant additional fact at this point is that 3/4 of the
core are financial intermediaries."

They almost all (TNCs) are controlled by the same players, so there is no real competition between TNCs. This network of top players control ab. 80% of world's wealth, directly or indirectly. They of course try to create an illusion of choice and competition.

"TNC" = "Trans-national corporation".

Spot on.

But hey, it's in chart form so it must be an accurate reflection of real life. I blame the illuminate for making me entirely content with the status quo.

Reminds me of a niche I was dominating the SERPs for (8 out of 10 results were mine) and I was competing against myself. Well actually I was making it look they were different sites competing against each other. Best thing? It didn't mattered which site was #1, I won regardless. I even emailed my real competitor on #3 proposing to do link exchange and cooperate to outrank the bastard on #1 (which was still me lol).

If 80~90% of what you buy is junk food, you are pretty much fucked anyway.

Awesome mindmap man, you should throw in Disney and a few political campaign power houses, that would freak out the press just a bit.
