The give away a free site method

I think this is a well known method. I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on it.

See I want to "GIVE AWAY" a "free" website to anyone. I want to use Hostgator to make a cool 100 bucks for each sign up vs godaddy which pays less.

Now how is the best way to word the Ad?

Honestly that is sorta the landing page not the ad for websites and such but it would be similar. I would just say "click here to set up your free website now" and not talk about buying the hosting.

PS I know I worded this wrong but any help would be great. I wrote the page wrong here, the first part is the ad and the second part is the sales page.

I don't know if you came up with this method, well I know you didn't but the affiliate part is brilliant.

Now why the fuck didn't I come up with that. Free amazing website to build your portfolio, but you make $100 fucking bucks for the sign up.

First don't include a link to any forum. Leave out the article part too, you are targeting small business, they don't even know what that means. Also leave out the since I was 15 part, just say you have been doing it or over 5 years.

No I was asking for help, not sharing......I want to know what is the best type of method to convince them to go through with it. If what I had was good enough. I mean sharing the idea is fine. I think I read about it here.

When I mean a free site I mean using a free template, in other words a newbie site but functional. The only cost to me would be the domain and the articles. Should I even give away the articles?

If you are going to do something like this you need to focus on who your market is. Is it businesses? Is it individuals?

You also should have some design skills, even if it's as little as being able to edit a wordpress theme.

This won't work if you are just setting up crappy websites and trying to give them away. Well, it may still work but isn't the most effective way to do it.

I've seen designers I know do this. It's an effective way to get clients. Offer a free website and then charge on the backend. The real money is made by self-hosting the sites, so instead of just getting an affiliate commission of $100, you charge the business $29/39/49 every month for hosting. Maybe even more. Hostnine is a decent place to get a reseller hosting account.

Well my clients are really hopefully just going to be newbies to the internet. I can edit a wordpress theme somewhat.

Im have been doing this for a while and I host all the sites myself so I get paid in like 2 days

How much are clients usually ok with paying for hosting?

You also want to give examples of sites that people can have so they can see what they are getting. I would not spend any money on hosting if I could not see what I will be getting for my cash.

Only me who see a conflict between the word "FREE" and "Income"

I have a hookup on business cards as well. I get 1000 for $14.99 so I also give away free printing. Since im doing my own hosting my return is higher than being an affiliate
