The jobs of the past are gradually being replaced by AI, and that is an inevitable process. AI now competes with humans for jobs that do not require too much creativity. But there will be new jobs for humans, such as writing prompts for AI...And smart, agile people will befriend AI instead of competing with it

Yes,AI is going to take a lot of writing,video creation,low end coding,graphics design and VA jobs.It'll create a few new type of jobs but the job losses are going to be several times higher than the new jobs AI will create.Hundreds of thousands of writers,video creators,graphics designers,programmers and VAs are going to be jobless in the coming years.

AI is a thing, and we need to accept it and moving forward alongside it is the way to go.
When I know there's something that's going to come for my job what are my options?
It's certainly not to wait for things to happen but to make a switch or an upgrade to compete with it.
Or just accept it, learn it, scale it, and move alongside it.

Writing show notes for a podcast? Talk about a niche job that anyone who can read and write can do. If you're doing work like this, you should have been working on getting skills to do something more complex not to mention more in demand.
AI will take billions of jobs eventually but for now, it's still really stupid. So if it's taking your job, it was a job you should have known made you easily replaceable. That's the key if you want to work for others, don't be easy to replace.

And yet all these governments keep trying to convince us we need to constantly raise the population. Funny how the people who are all alarmed that in developed countries, the population is leveling off or declining somehow are clueless that AI and increasingly cheaper robotics is making the need for human labor more and more irrelevant.
You've got, what, like 2.5 billion people in the world who basically just make enough to get through the day, many of whom are subsistence farmers and don't produce much if anything outside their own use. Projections say we'll add another 2.5 billion or so by the middle of the century, meanwhile AI/robotic automation will eliminate anywhere between 1 and 2 billion jobs by then, depending on which study you look at.
So by 2050 nearly 2/3s of the world's population will either be unemployable or scrambling to grow or gather food and water to get through the day.
But they still claim we need more and more people... Strange.

This is how world works! It takes jobs and produces other job. How many stores do you think E-Commerce Closed. And how many jobs did manufacturing end. And how many job did farming machines destroy. It's normal, and people will adapt like they always do. It least they ended for the right cause which is development. Unlike Wars, Greed, Capitalism, which destroys millions for nothing.

but the intention of those building the ai is to completely remove the worker. The statesmen don't care, they get paid. Even if millions die from poverty the statesmen will still be wealthy.

Well, it's fair competition. AI will make human life better or worse. I am a true believer AI Weapons will end our civilization. But until then, they will make human life better. If the light bulb inventor thought how many candle makers jobs he will end, we would still be using candles. What about Electricity? This how human adapt with their growth and evolve. So, lets enjoy the moment till some dumbass country uses it in war and then we will know the true meaning of huge loss.
