Google now allows for sites to be submitted for indexation

    https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url

Although I think natural indexation works best in terms of SEO, some of us might want to try it out. It's okay if, for instance, you want to submit a page from your business website that never indexed.

    But...

If you're buying links from outreach I think it's best to avoid submitting links for indexation.

Now getting to the real point: is it the end of journey for pinging tools/sites? What do you folks think.

According to the market buzz, it's NEW. If you have not paid attention this is not a PUBLIC form but an option to index pages directly from Google search result page.

    And that's new.

I don't know who all are using pinging tools these days. Anyone with a bit of knowledge of SEO would want to steer clear of mass pinging.

@darulez, I don't know if Barry Schwartz is bullshit to you or you overlooked the part on that news, the part I didn't mention on the first post.

That tool was always there, no doubt but what was NOT there is the ability of the webmaster to index pages directly from Google SR pages.

I didn't mention it on the first post to see if people like you can tell the difference, and apparently most cannot. And you're no exception @darulez

    I don't understand.

This is probably the oldest form on google, is it not?

It competed with Yahoo!'s "submit your url" form back in the day?

    What am I missing here?

Also it requires you to log in... So how are you gonna ping black hat links logged into Google? They're marking every link as your own stuff.

Correct me if I'm wrong please.

This is the part I'm most interested in which is why this post was made in first place. Usually you'd submit links with GWT (GSC) for indexation but now, if your Gmail is singed in, you can load the page and submit the URL directly into the SE page without getting into GWT.

I never said this tool is for pinging black hat links.

In fact, apart from money-site pages, one should index no other links with this Google tool.

Pinging tools/sites are a recipe for disaster. WHY?

The answer is forced indexation. Google has made this tool even more accessible so as to easily understand which links are paid for ( This is for those of you who use this tool for faster indexation of the links you build for the money site). That's a given.

Now let's read between the lines.

It also implies Google will go very slow with forced indexation using third-party pinging tools or mark negatively the destination links those pinged links promotes.

And hence the question, is this the end of pinging tools?

Black hat or white hat, you can no longer use forced indexation. Period.

I dont think this will be the end of pinging tools. Most of the users who pay for pinging tools use them to index tier 2-3 links and in great quantities.

So yes, i think there is still a market for pinging tools.
