MARKETING CREATES DEMAND - SALES CONVERT THAT DEMAND

As shared in this article I'll post here (never seen it put this simply):

    Code:
    themarketingchef.com/2013/02/11/marketing-versus-sales/
He describes how Marketers can be viewed as Chefs - cooking up "irresistible" demand, and Salesmen are the Waiters serving the product/demand to customers.

Marketing involves Ad campaigns and making it look pretty,
where your Sales Team delivers that pretty thing and upsells even fancier stuff ie; "will you be drinking bombay or beefeaters?" meanwhile the customer feels like royalty.

Enjoy the article, it really helped me see the Sales Process in a new light.
