So Amazon is more focused on removing some items that people are bitching about just because they need to bitch about something. Last year they went all scared and pulled any confederate flag related items, that no one gave a fuck about except for a few months. Both of these cases people just started going to alternative shops. Could amazon eventually die off if they just keep adding things to their not allowed lists?

Amazon is part of daily life so will never die. Just about everyone I know has amazon on their phones, couple of taps and it's ordered.
They are like facebook, here to stay

Facebook is in decline

Just because a company is big now, doesn't mean it will stay big.

Well Woolworths tried to be all things to all men and became outdated, amazon crushed them. Lehman bros were dodgy. Blockbuster didn't move with the times, amazon crushed them with video streaming.

If you haven’t posted anything personal on Facebook FB 0.21% in awhile, you’re not alone. A damning report published by The Information on Thursday revealed that Facebook has been struggling to reverse a 21% decline in “original sharing,” or personal updates, from its 1.6 billion monthly active users.
...
People go on Facebook just to log in and click on ads these days, they just don't know it.

Scrolling through my Facebook feed, this is roughly what I see:
  • 5 Personal posts
  • 13 Sponsored posts
  • 2 Shoddy sites that can't rank in Google, but get shared on Facebook
  • 85 Memes/text images/videos from Facebook pages that steal from other sites by slapping their logo on them.
  • 6 Tumblr screenshots.
Unless you share something about college, jobs (getting one or getting a promotion), or your latest relationship; Facebook people don't want to hear about it. It's like they're all stuck in a purgatory of ads, text in images, and the same "happy ending" stories.

wow some people are so delusional.

amazon is bigger than wal mart, deal with it.

Companies decline and go out of business all the time, Amazon isn't anything special.
if you think amazon will go out of business I suggest you obtain more knowledge on the subject instead of spewing opinion based on very limited knowledge.

Woolworth was declining before Amazon existed and amazon was a tiny company when woolsworth finally ceased operations. Netflix is what caused blockbuster to go out of business not amazon.

Nothing makes Amazon special, there isn't a global law prevent them from going out of business. Amazon is starting to make decisions to get rid of certain markets and that will start to have a big impact once they keep adding to it.

wtf is this... amazon and woolworth were never competitors, the fuck? woolworth is a store founded in the 1800s & when it folded amazon only sold books. Amazon is a technology company., do you see walmart launching rockets? and netflix is the one that crushed blockbuster.

If you think amazon isn't special then you don't know shit, and you don't know shit about amazon.

"amazon will have big impacts when"

yeah.. and elon musk will launch his first billion dollar company around the same time.

did I time travel back into 1999?

LOL

The more they start to blacklist stuff, the more it gives competitors an edge. Companies rise and fall, and amazon is going to be no different than any other in history.

Woolworths only went bust a few years ago, amazon was big then, Netflix and others killed blockbuster, I mentioned amazon but should have said video streaming. My point was that amazon cant be compared to the companies you listed.

Woolsworth shut down in 1997. Amazon can be compared to every other companies that have rise, fall and then gone out of business, someone is going to offer a better service than amazon and take their place.
