Anyone ever spend some time scraping looking for the perfect expired domain, finally find a few amazing prospects great metrics, great tf, great referring domains, authority is high everything is phenominal too good to be true....then.....you go into wayback machine and see the last few months it was a chinese pbn before it dropped, dreams...crushed...

I guess im just frustrated at how many times this has happened. I realize those buggers have 1.4 billion people their the human equivalent of ants but dont they have a different search engine, Baidu I guess it must work in a similar way to google if their buying up all these expired domains for chinese language pbns.

Anyone try registering one of these expired domains that was a chinese pbn? I would assume they are deindexed just by the fact their dropped and had chinese language content past few months

God, am so tired hearing everyone blaming the chinese for everything that happens in this god damn world. The chinese are ruining BTC, the chinese are ruining the market, the chinese are devaluing their currency, the chinese created the global warming hoax, the chinese bla bla bla.

Stop blaming the chinese for everything that happens to this world,

    It's Japanese, not Chinese.

And yes, cca 40% of the domains with TF9+ RD10+ have this kind of history. Guys did bank. kudos to them.

Yeh and on the other note... you can always buy the domains without screwing with them yourself. You won't find too much usable stuff with small operation anyways as you can see.

he is right, a lot of expired domains have chinese content.
And most of them have pretty high rank on Ahrefs and moz.
I haven't checked majestic for them.

you was just a step slower than the rest. that's why you see Japanese used pbn.

    Fine tune your discovery tool.

But how does it affect the domain? Why are they unusable? What do you mean by "de-indexed", isn't the site de-indexed right at the moment the domain expires and the website goes off?

I wouldn't assume anything when it comes to SEO. One thing I noticed about a lot of these domains is that they are registered for one year and then dropped. They could just be playing the numbers games and registering tons of domains and not bothering with renewing them. Always test for yourself.

Could you still use them if you're in a japanese focused niche? They won't get burned?

So true, I am tired of such domains. But you can always check archive first before further checking.

You could also just use the domain, some times they'll have clean profiles, just from Japanese sites.

I still use them regardless, most people gauge what expireddomains metrics to get from old outdated sources. Clean English anchor domains are hard to come by, so use what you can.

i think its also due to the fact they focus on their own market so these sites have their own language.

if country was poor they would focus more on learning english and trying internetional

but yeah theres a lot of good domains that were legit for 10 years and then web archive showed some chinese content for a while.

I filter anything Japanese before I even check the domains manually. More often than not they are penalized, after all, they are still former PBNs.

Sure, some people who KNOW what they are doing might use them, because they know the risks involved and how to evaluate the domains properly, but most of the newbies will register penalized crap in more than 80 - 90% of the cases.

I love getting my hand on one of those. I am holding several Web 2.0 with were formerly misused by Japanese spammers or pumped up with SAPE from Fiverr gigs. Great for outlinking purposes.
