This is The Big Dog Income System Share #2. Each Friday you'll be going to see a cool share, it can be anything from tips or if I get too crazy, maybe a complete method on how to make money - who knows. What you do know for sure is each Friday you'll be getting a share from me.

So, this one is a cool addition to http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/683103-big-dog-income-system-1-301-redirects-wordpress-com.html.

You learned how to redirect .wordpress.com blogs for high rankings. Now how we can make these more powerful? We add some age around them. Before getting further, let me clear something about domain age. A domain is considered aged only if it has been indexed or crawled before. However, we're having subdomains now, so it's a different case.

Here's how you can get that age factor on your .wordpress.com blogs. The cool guys at Wordpress offer you the option to post by email, and this is how we're going to create aged .wordpress.com blogs. We don't find these blogs, we CREATE them.

Once you've got your blog ready you want to go to Dashboard > My Blogs and you have something like "Post by Email". Click "Enable" and you'll get an email. Save that and do the next step.

You can post by email with any email service, it can be a yahoo, hotmail or a custom email on your domain (Custom emails seem to not work, could be something wrong with my domain but I don't know, I don't have time to check but to be sure just use a yahoo email). If you haven't figured out already, you'll have to email your post to the Wordpress generated email. Anything that gets sent to that email will be posted to your blog.

So, we'll use this option to post our articles at a later date. Email subject is used as post title so put your article title in there. Now you want to post the article at a later date. To do so, follow the next template:

    Code:
    Article here

    [category x,y,z]

    [tags x,y,z]

    [delay 2005-07-07 04:30:00 EST]

    [end]
Category you know what it is, tags you know that too. The delay shortcode is what will make our post look like it's been published on 7th July 2005. Google will index the post with that date and you'll get the age factor on your blog. Point of this is to add a few more articles and make a truly authority blog, then you rank the blog and redirect it to your site.

Google sees the age as real age and you benefit from that.

You've got all you need over here but for further reference see http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-email/.

So that's been share #2, stay tuned for the next series.

What's the point of using post by email when you can just schedule the post for year 2005?

Good share. I'm pretty skeptical that by simply changing the date G actually treats it as older/any different. I think G would treat it as new based on the first date it is crawled. Do you have any evidence of this? If so this would be a sweet little exploit but again I'm not too sure it has any point.

How would this be any different from setting the publish date in WP settings? And more importantly, does is really have any difference?

Honestly I'd say this makes no difference at all, as otherwise all guys with autoblogs could just set their publish time to an hour or so "before" their source and then outrank them with that.

I think his theory is that because they are on Wordpress HOSTED site that the site has been around that long so its possible the page could be too.

However I agree with you 100%. I don't think G looks at what the date says and treats it as 'aged' because of that. I believe its based on when it was first crawled by them.

I know what you mean, I hit that in OP. The thing is I did quite some tests when I found this out. I'd build tons of blogs, regular blogs and aged blogs and the aged blogs were always ranking higher than the regular ones. It's useless to say I been picking keywords with similar metrics. So that's what the data says.

For others too, if I share something on here it means it's still up and working. The point is that you take some of these tips and implement into your system. I don't share just to flood BHW with new threads...

That works too. I haven't been aware of this way cause I needed something to post articles in mass and that's how I found out it's possible to post articles at a later date. Thanks for pointing out the simple way.
