I've worked some tradeshows and have used CL's "Gigs" section to get models for my booth. It's free to post, and I've received 30+ responses both times I used this tactic.
Most of the applicants are very attractive. This woman applied for the gig I posted in Las Vegas. The job only paid $18 an hour!
THE METHOD
Post an ad in your local CL "Gigs" section stating that you need a model for an upcoming car show and are paying $35 an hour. Request photos. You'll get 20 - 40 responses.
Call up the most attractive ones and meet with them to discuss the job for a few minutes at a coffee shop close to them. Charm them, make them laugh, and make a personal connection.
Call them the following day and ask them out to dinner, a movie, etc. Most will say no, but many will say yes. It's up to you to "convert" them.
Of course, some will wonder if they got the job or what happened to the car show. Let them know your business partner flaked out and you had to pull out of the car show.
Think about how hard it is to get 5 - 10 minutes of face time with 10+ model-quality women. Some guys get the opportunity only a few times in their life!
