I've recently made some reddit tools which creates accounts, comments other posts, upvotes my posts, and posts my links. Lately I've just been posting funny pictures, and with some decent pictures I can get 5-6k uniques in a single day, but I was wondering if there was a better way to make money on reddit, maybe some how promoting amazon products, or some sort of affilite stuff, maybe some cpa? Everything I post like that gets downvoted really fast, no mater how discreet i try to be when posting the link(as in not making it look like spam). Anyone have any experiance with Reddit? Any tips would be great, thanks!

Reddit is very clever to find spam. Their backlinks are no follow. But when your links get into your first page you are going to get thousands of traffic. But it's a heavy task. They usually use silent bans which means you will not get any authority letters from them still you cannot see any of your links indexed in Reddit. I think Reddit is a difficult website to apply spam.

Monetizing Reddit is a pain. Over 70% uses adblock and most are clever enough to know whats spam and whats real. Except the gameofthrones subreddit of course. Users there are on par with Hello Kitty online players.

I wouldn't bother directly trying to monetize reddit traffic, it is some of the most savvy on the web. However the link value is excellent. Despite being n0follow, reddit links (posts or comments) are an excellent way to get stuff spidered. However the biggest value you get from reddit in terms of linking is when you get upvotes and traction on a piece of good content - that will lead to some decent d0follow linking from other sites as people reblog your content, post it on Facebook, tweet it etc.

I don´t know about reddit, but you can sell any traffic to fiverr. Maybe that´s an option for you?

I think I have a bit of a crush on autumn and I am hoping she aint a man..

Anyway I just started my own subredit and I am looking for a tool to post my backlinks too. So instead of having an excel file of all the backlinks I create I will have my own subreddit of backlinks I create. Do you have a tool I can post from multiple accounts to the same subreddit?

Don't spam Reddit. Reddit is awesome. Spamming Reddit is like punching Bill Murray in the face.

Forget it, Reddit sucks simply said.. 90% bounce rates, users all run ad-block, users don't shop affiliate offers since their too "tech savy". It's just a horrible user base to market too. They are super picky over SPAM and will wet their pants if they have a chance to out you or report you.. I've tried it, got hundreds of visits, it was just in point worthless traffic, even on legit non-spam accounts. I would avoid it..

The only good thing I see happening is your story/link getting upvoted and picked up and getting tons of people linking to you. But it's incredibly rare, almost the same chance as not posting at all.

Also Reddit is not awesome, their users are really weird/loaners/in-life losers, not hating on them but they make odd comments, and have you seen photos of them in group meets? The most awkward people alive, some serious basement dwellers.

Spot on. One thing I've noticed about redditors is that they don't have their own opinions on anything. The first couple of comments on a post are positive? 99% of the next comments will also be. First are negative? The rest will be slanderous. How astonishing for a community of self-proclaimed comedians and deep thinkers...

Another thing about reddit is that the majority of people aren't willing to spend more than 5 seconds on a link. It's a community of "TL;DR" writers, which is not good for monetizing their traffic because this requires not only spending time on a site, but going through and inputting their credit card information, and so on and so forth.

I second the idea to sell the traffic on fiverr though.

If you are creative enough you can monetize anything.

Of course Reddit would not be good for sales/leads that require credit card information, I was thinking more along the lines of posting an article about a program for a download lead. So they read the article and like the program, and download it to give it a try. I tried this with a WP plugin trial download but they had to put in some information before download, so it didn't do well, just got clicks no leads.

The only thing I have been successful with is display ads (adsense) on a funny picture site, which does decent when a picture gets up voted and takes off to the top of the subreddit, I've gotten up to 20k uniques in one day off of it, which if I could figure out how to get that consistently could make some good money. But that would be quite a bit of work to receive that daily, and can't be just some over-spammed junk "viral" picture. Would have to come up with original images/videos that everyone would enjoy.

I saw one video of someone throwing a box into a lava-lake and it bursting into flames, it had over 3000 up votes and the video went up 250,000 views when I checked it a day in a half later.

Does anyone have any experience making money, or just getting traffic through Reddit? Because it is a traffic GOLD MINE, but the only thing I could see is if you could get redditors to post your links themselves, and not have to spam them. I created a funny picture site and created my own subreddit, and made a note of it on the site. I will update everyone on how it does in a week or so.

If they run adblock then I can simply use a site which pays per click on a picture, it's a funny picture traffic exchange type site, but you can choose if you want to get traffic in return or get paid per click, which I think would be the best way to moentize if they all run adblock. There's ways to moentize everything

Yes i have a ZennoPoster4 template which will login to a list of accounts, post a link from a text file to the subreddit and with the title of your choice. But I can also create a visual basic program to do the same task if you are willing to pay for it.

So I either have to get Zennoposter4 and pay you for the template or pay you for the Vbasic program?
