Is by (in my opinion) reading and trial and error. Unless you are born with the uncanny talent to optimize lol

I've been getting a ton of emails asking how I get my sites on top of search engines.

So I've created this thread for everyone to share their tips and questions regarding SEO



MY TIP: Build up links using social sharing sites like (delici0us and D1gg)
Make videos and watermark them including still shots of yoursite. Also include your URL in the description having it keyword rich.


BHW is best known for sharing. I like it that way. I will be glad to answer questions.

MEMBERS THAT KNOW SEO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE YOUR TIPS

Don't expect immediate results. Do stress it, focus on other parts of your money making plans.

Link well on site, and google will take care of your off site seo part when u do linking.

Good tip for MSN is to have a link on the page you want to rank for and link it back to the same page. MSN goes nuts, no idea why, my site was #1 on G00gle and Yah00 but MSN didn't even show it on the first couple of pages. Now it's #1 there too

Another thing to think is the techie types love G00gle, independents prefer Yah00, but newbs with money to spend will always visit MSN cos they don't know any better.

Oh and another tip I found is if you use a Blogger blog you can review clickbank items and sometimes outrank the item you are reviewing *shrug* go figure.

@Chronozon ah ha! That could explain my sudden plunge in ranking on MSN. I had three links at the bottom with my keywords, pointing to my three top pages.

lol. Yeah just keep your links easy to follow. Make your pages unique in content but similar (very) in design.

DON'T spend too much time on exploring your stats data and testing your SERP rankings with your all keywords. Search for some backlinks instead.

Post everywhere you go. Get tons of links and anchor keyword links. YUMMY

Have you have any suggestion of wp plugins can make blog SEO friendly?

I don't know why it looks so easy for u to get traffic so easy. I used to rewrite articles and submit them to 100+ article directories, and put social bookmarking pluging in my blog.

I spent so much time submitting articles, but the result is almost zero. 4 months of work, and only 20 visitors per day, and it' not constant traffic.

Where can I learn the real SEO tips?

Use;
Firefox plugin
- Search Status : Nofollow will be strike through.
- seo quake : Nofollow high lighted in red.

The basic,
See source code.
On browser, press ctr+u and find for rel="nofollow" or rel="noindex"
You can use ctr+f and type those two code to get it highlighted.

use 70/30 link building strategy for example 70% of links will have anchor links you will be targeting, and the other 30% are anchor links non related e.g. "click here" Why? Make it look natural, and dramatically decreases the chance of your site being flagged and sandboxed.

Reading about SEO and implementation those methods in your sites is the best way to learn about SEO.

don't use all social bookmarking sites, because if you use all SB sites, google doesn't give you as much juice for them

Ezine is your friend... I find submitting articles overtime gives me good backlinks which helps SEO.

I rather invest my time on lenses and hubs..

Or Am I wrong?

I have 3 lenses made.

One is on the 3rd page for it's long tail keyword, the other I haven't seen on the search engine's for it's long tail keyword, but I have gotten weird hits from it for strange searches, and lastly, I made one a few days ago and haven't started linking yet.

What is the best method for getting backlinks, blog commenting?
