    Hey guys,

I am stuck in a bit of a situation. I have found a great service I would like to promote but am unsure of how to contact the owner.

Has anyone done this successfully? If so, any tips would be awesome!

    Thanks

I have the details, I was inquiring more about what kind of pitch to make.

I.e. make a sales letter and convince them why they should let me promote their services.

Good luck. Many site owners will think you are fly by night. Make it personal.

    1. check if they have a contact us page
    2. check the email address listed for the owner using a WhoIs service for the domain
    3. just try writing to info [at] domain or webmaster [at] domain or support [at] domain ...

As for what to say in your email, just be honest. Say that you think the service is a great idea and that you believe you can promote it effectively. Ask what kind of commission he would be willing to give and negotiate from there.
