I see Newbs , Failing on the time. waisiting their hard earn Cash on their New websites and not earning a single Cent Back.

The Best Advice I can Give to Some is: ALWAYS CREATE A WEBSITE ON A TOPIC THAT INTEREST YOU!

No Matter what anyone says' , To me this is the foundations to any Website. I Find that if I write about a Topic , I don't like my website(s) will fail.

Just bear this in mind. You can Argue all you like about this , But this is what I've seen , THAT WORKS.

Thank you

That is true that it is easier if you are interested in a topic but if you work like that you might be limited to a small amount of niches. You need to be more flexible and be able to write about anything to make money in this game. There is so much info out there that if you are creative and ambitious you can write about anything.

Here is another advice: WRITE UNIQUE ARTICLES.

Having unique articles will have you ranking for search terms you didn't even know about and will boost you in the SERPs greatly.

ALWAYS CREATE A WEBSITE ON A TOPIC THAT IS GOING TO MAKE YOU MONEY!

Writing a sensationalist topic headline with fuck all in terms of content is GAY.

It's true for the most part but sometimes the return on a more lucrative niche creates interest in developing/optimizing/maintaining something.

That said I think this is a bit of a misleading title, choosing a niche you want to develop is not an SEO technique (perhaps a pre-requisite for some). None the less having an interest in anything you do will make it easier, but you can never guarantee 100% success when humans are the variables.

I may say just the opposite. But I won't. Rather I will shout:

Never restrict yourself with these kind of thoughts. FREE YOUR MIND...:)

I agree in part. For any noob starting out I agree that in order to maintain interest and see successes it is much more constructive to start with something you are engaged with. Once you have learned your trade pursuing something of interest you should start to see the potential in the concepts you are undertaking.

These concepts are then applied to websites and niches which make money regardless of whether you are interested in them because at this point you smell the cash. If you are in the game serioulsy and are commited, this is more than motivation its a means to make a living....a very good one at that!

I kinda disagree. When I first started out, I built my first site about cars (my hobby and number 1 passion). However, I abandoned it pretty quickly. Why? because it wasn't making me any money and i was online to make a full time living.

The one thing that will keep you motivated is money and a site that makes very little of it will not keep your moral up for long, no matter how much you love the topic.

So, my advice to noobs: follow a niche that makes money. That what's gonna keep you going.

Of course, if you like writing about something and that something proves to be profitable ... good for you.

Agreed if you're only managing one site but to scale it up, it might not be the case often. Still it is an advice worth listening if you're new to the game.

Hmm. Well I followed this for most of my sites and haven't seen any real profit. The one site I didn't give a shit about ranked number 1 for it's keyword and made me Amazon profits...

There are many people that say that they don't have any interest or whatsoever but in reality there must be something that you are interested in such as games, sports etc. Don't confuse interest with passion because that is 2 different subjects.

In fact, if you are me what my passion is, I don't even really know. But if it is interest you are talking about, I have tons of them and it can be activities that I want to take part in but do not have the chance yet. I certainly agree that it is much easier to create a quality website that is of your interest than some random "4 slice toaster" website.

It is much easier to make sites on topic that interest you. and there are 4 reasons for that.

1) As expert you will use niche related theme words much more. This will help you a great deal with rankings and you will have 300% more traffic due to longtail searches. Most of searches are long tail ones - that are combination

2) As articles will be very long since you know what to wtite about you will catch even more long tail trafic.

3) Your content is going to attract links. Just submit content on 1-+ big social bookmarking sites. Also the mosre visitors you get the more link you are goding to have.

4) You will much easier promote sites - commentting to related blogs will be easier, you alredy know best forums in your niche an so on.

Good advice.
When I was 15 (over 15 years ago) I started a website on xxxxx niche because I couldn't find any information for it online (couldn't find a ton of anything online in the late 1990s yet), and it was something I was interested in. I made a site on it because I wanted to share information with people that were also looking and couldn't find it. I did this 100% as a hobby, for fun, with absolutely no intentions of making money.

In a few months I started getting advertising income, and in a few years I was making mid six figures. It turned into a business. However, that is actually one downfall from it all, it took my hobby, which I loved, had a passion for, and turned intoa business where it was more about making money, answering to customers, business stuff, not enjoying the hobby.

But in short, I did it because I loved it and never planned on making money, and it turned into my career.

You know the old saying, if you enjoy what you're doing, you never work a day in your life.

15 years ago, (1995), you created a niche site and made 6 figures income. And you did not like where you reached because it took your hobby. Now you are a millionaire because of that niche. But not happy?

Sorry but where is Peter Pan and Captain Hook here? Oops, I should have said Cinderalla.:)
