Hello and welcome to my Tierd Link Building tutorial. I will be going over:

    • What is Tierd Link Building
    • How to set it up
    • Why it works
    • Advantages
    • Disadvantages

    What is Tierd Link Building

The best way to think about it is like a pyramid of sites pointing to the site above it, with the top pointing to your money site.

    Money Site

    Tier 1
    Tier 2 - Tier 2 - Tier 2
    Tier 3 - Tier 3 - Tier 3 - Tier 3 - Tier 3 - Tier 3
    And so on

    How to set it up

You should treat you Tier 1 site like a money site.
    Post good quality content.
    Optimize all pages.
    Advertise your money site.
Suggested KW to target: KW + reviews, tutorials, news, what to avoid, how to, etc.
-- The reason behind this is that it's very likely that they will start ranking on the serps, and I have effectively snuffed out the competition on the first page on some keywords.

    Site Structure
Siloing is something that i feel most people are not aware of. But it is very effective.

Page 1 "Bass Fishing" (usually in the nav) -- (is main target kw) -- (One Link to Money Site, Two outbound links to high PR sites)

-- Page 2 (Do a google search for main KW and use the kws shown at the bottom) -- (1 link to Page_1 and 2 high PR outbound Links)
    -- Bass Fishing Lures
    -- Bass Fishing Tips
    -- Bassmaster

----- Page 3 (Blog posts, 1 link to page Page_1, one link to Page_2, One high pr outbound link)
    ----- Blog Post, keep relative.

The links are only suggestions I would suggest switching it up a bit also, sometime use images as links and so on.

Run a few campaigns on Page 1, Page 2, and homepage for around 2 months, then you can drop it off a bit and start building links to Page 3

    Building the Links

T1 Keep it quality if you find that these sites are ranking because you have the opportunity to drive that traffic to the money site.
T2 Use Private Blog Networks and SEO software, Keep the spun articles quality.
T3 The quality of the content can drop a lot as we need to build quantity here.
T4 You can go this deep if you want but it becomes a pain to keep track of all the urls

    Why it works

Ok for this lets think like google. We got a bunch of people creating sites with things like SeNuke, Ultimate Demon, etc...
Are there any patterns that we can detect that will let us know that these links are unnatural?

Well how about that there all created with only one post and then never posted to again?
That's pretty easy to track, while it is possible to re-post using auto-submitting software it's not that easy and most people don't do it. So in my opinion, google will still count these links although their over all value gets severely diminished.

Not to mention that most people submit to all the same sites using these kinds of software, Matt Cutts as said that if a site has a bunch of links coming from one domain that after a while google will start to plato its value. And that's what most people do.

So by changing the pointing domains we can get more value out of our auto generate links.

These sites will also over time start generating trust, relevance, and pr, passing it all down to the money site.

And by doing this you're helping increase the size of the internet by creating high quality sites. And when the size of the net increases it makes it much harder for googles competition to keep up.

    1) You have control over the site.

    2) Benefits you because lets say you order some links and they turn out to hurt your site. Well simply point the link at your competitors lol, or take down the site.

    3) These sites will end up ranking in the serps as you have put more time into them, you will also generate leads from them, they are also good to through adsense on for some beer money.

    4) Because you keep posting to these sites googles trust will increase. If you're google how hard would it be to find a pattern of sites that have only one post to them. Not really terribly bad but not great either.

    5) These sites will eventually start getting PR making them valuable sites that you can use in many different places.

    6) Early warning system, If you separate links you've bought or new linking strategies to target only your T1's then you can track much easier what's working well and what's not

    7) And over all you're building your own blog network that you can then exchange with others doubling or tripling your link diversity.

    1. Takes a long time to setup
    2. Hard to keep track of all the passwords
    3. Can be hard to post to the sites on a regular basis

Web 2.0 Sites for T1, you dont have to do all of these and I would suggest using wordpress for your first one. Start with the highest PR and go down.
I suggest building these by hand or using a software to create the accounts and then going in optimizing them by hand.
I use lastpass to keep track of all of the T1 log ins. I also suggest keeping all the passwords in a txt or csv file and storing them on drop box.
I recommend for the first month not adding any links to the site as you do not want them to get deleted. The admins don't really watch the blogs after the first month or so.
Never post content that is exactly 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 etc.. Quick way to get your site deleted.
I also suggest keeping the domain name broad to the topic so you can talk about other things related to your niche.

    Free hyperlink spinner at advanced-article-spinning.com/spin.aspx
You can also spin videos and images.

You can outsource this and many do. If you choose to do this I suggest paying them per site and not hourly. Be warned that outsourcing is not as easy as it seems.

    Great share.

On the list of web2.0s you have livejournal, this site I can never get to index. And my old accounts that are 3 years old have been deindexed too. Soo don't use that one to build 1st tier links.

Great share, will def use your list. Nevertheless, xanga.com and squidoo.com are nofollow, so I suggest using them for T2 just for link diversification.

Link tiering works, would just recommend that you keep updating your tier blogs now and then (use software so you can update all of them, if you dont have, it's good to update t1 and MAYBE t2).
Makes them last longer and they will be more powerful, will be seen as "active sites linking".

I'd watch Matthew Woodward's video series on multi-tiered link building and follow that plan.

If you have some money to spend and/or not enough time to do it on your own, you can buy high-quality multi-link tiers from providers in BHW marketplace.

Build them to both. 25% to homepage, 25% to main landing page, 25% to inner sub landing pages and 25% to the blog posts.

Doesnt have to be exactly this but google does like to see fresh content and continual links, the link juice will flow up to the homepage and main pages anyways
and the homepage is where you want the links to the money site to come from. As well as the main kw targeted page.

And for tier 1, if you go get sick network, you can manage all your tier 1 from one place as long as they are on wordpress sites. Allows backups, updating and is easy to use.

$67 is not a bad price, I was using rankwyz for a while although personally i think that it's over priced at $27 a month, and i wish they had an option of people who are
just starting out and only have a few sites.

Oh hey guys, I found this free anchortext, youtube video, and image spinner. Do you guys think its any good? A friend recommended it to me and it does meet my personal requirements. http://advanced-article-spinning.com/spin.aspx

The easiest way to do tiered link building like link pyramid is by using a good software. There are some very good softwares that do this.
