    Has anyone seen the ASIC bit coin miners in action?
    i thought they were never going to materialise, but recently saw a review of them in action on a tech website.

    the 5ghz ones are available for order now on the butterfly labs website, for around $280 + $80 shipping.

    apparently they can generate this back in less than a month.

    now I'm really tempted to get one.

    Yes, they have been putting this off for a LONG time, promising shipments by a certain date, then pushing it down. So, I wouldn't trust what is written on their site.

    See what you mean - they are still working on orders from June last year. Maybe I'll forget about that one :)
