    Hi,

This may have been discussed a few times, anyway, I found a expired domain with a TF 22 and CF 19 problem is, it has 117K backlinks, 460 are Government back links.

    Would you buy this domain?

While the CF/TF ratio is great you'll need to check the backlinks, anchors and the domain history.

    Cheers

Check the anchor, you're probably see there if it's spammed to death or those are legit. Also, check then using opensitexplorer. You're gonna see what are the strongest links.

Thanks :) The majority of the links have the same Anchor text and are the same domains. i.e. there are pointing several hundred links from the same domain to this domain with the same anchor text.

The total domain referring is 67 seems low, compared to that it has currently 117k backlinks?

The first link doesn't work for me.

The second one seems to be expired domain directory.

You should check if there is any sitewide links, let say if you have a few sitewide links from a few authority sites, it is pretty reasonable to have that many bls.

    ...

This really isnt rocket science. Check the freaking backlink profile - if it has 117k backlinks, even an untrained monkey can determine whether they're legit or not.

I think its possible to even manipulate TF/CF , throw in hundreds of Gov/Edu links along with spammy links and you will get a decent TF:CF Ratio. Check the backlinks quality, if they look natural then go for it, but i am pretty sure that a domain with 117k backlinks is spammed to death and is not worth buying.

Check the nature of these 117k backlinks, are they all spammy?
