A man’s body and mind should work in great synergy, and be balanced as one. As the old proverb says, a healthy mind in a healthy body. One can not exist without the other. But what defines a man’s mind? Testosterone and Cortisol. Those two very important hormones serves each a very specific purpose. The key to a healthy mind is trying to increase your testosterone and lower your Cortisol levels. Pewep had a nice post recently about the importance of Testosterone (actually he was targeting more the idea of NOFAP, but those two are related). And I promised to come with some insides from the medical word about Testosterone and how it affects our lives. I will focus more on why is Testosterone important and how to boost it, because, basically, increasing Testosterone levels will lead to lowering Cortisol levels.

    The Leader
We hear about leaders a lot, everyone wants to become a leader, everyone wants to become the alpha male, but how is an alpha male born naturally within mammals? To be a male, in nature, means that your organism was exposed to the male sexual hormone (Testosterone) and you suffered some changes that made you more or less manly. So, how manly you are is directly correlated with the amount of testosterone you were internally exposed to.

So, what makes a man is his balls; Scarface, before killing his old boss tells him: ‘The only thing that gives orders is balls’ – this right here is power talk, let me translate it: my balls are bigger, I am the boss here. Then he overthrow him, takes his empire and his girl. Life is not a penis measuring contest, it’s a testosterone measuring contest.

    What is testosterone?
Testosterone is an androgen hormone responsible for producing the male characteristics. But that’s not all, because without it, we would not feel the need to improve or reproduce as species. Testosterone is health, it’s appearance, it’s calmness.

We are all becoming little girls
Why? Well, every species main purpose is to survive, and because we are the smartest species on earth, we want to make this ‘surviving’ thing easier, to enhance our food gathering abilities, we tried to fool nature and now we have to pay a heavy price for this.

Ever wondered how pesticides works? They are chemically created to counter the male’s sex hormones so they will fail to reproduce. We try to fool nature, but in the end we feed our children with that food and we end fooling ourselves. You don’t believe me? That’s ok, maybe you believe them or them.

Chickens and Cows are fed with female hormones so they grow faster, produce more milk, and ged larger breasts. Later when we drink their milk or eat their meat, we get that hormones right in our body. Ever wondered why all the teenage girls have bigger breasts (tits) that a lot of chicks your age? Source.

The next week I will post a complete guide with tips and tricks on how to increase your T levels.

DHT and genetic factors are more likely to be contributing to your hair loss, not testosterone in a general sense.

I think it was mythbusters who tested this testosterone. They took two stereotypical persons, one "nerd" and a "badass". They were also dressed as the stereotypes. And this badass wore jeans and a leather jacket and some blink if I remember correctly. When they dressed up the "nerd", his testosterone level increased just by changing his appearance. Btw. the nerd had a lot of hair but low T level, the badass was without hair and a way higher T level.

Now that is an interesting concept. Do you have a link?

I love psychology and that really intrigues me.

I tried to look on youtube for it, but did not find it. I like psychology too, and it is amazing how much psychology is part of out lives without us thinking of it.
