So i believe in my own system of theory->application->theory->application->revision->repeat

I need to test alot of these seo methods I have learned to learn the best push button like approach to rank my future similar sites.

However my testing led to a site bouncing from 9th to buried in serps. I dont use any tools or mass links/packages so I can correct the mistakes. But it seems like im playing with fire here.

Like anything you need to try and fail to get good. But it seems stupid to put so much effort into a startup site then put it at risk by experimenting.

You cant exactly just stick a 1 page site up to test either, nor do I want to waste time making test sites.

I want to test PBN links, anchor ratios, 2.0s etc

How you do this seo brahs?

Well, you test it by doing it.

Importantly, though, test just one thing at a time, so you know what works when something does work! If you do 15 things then get a boost in SERPs, it's not going to be possible to form an accurate conclusion as to what worked well.

Sometimes, for speed, I use web 2.0s to test methods (especially risky ones). There's no need to create a massive new site for each test; just 4/5 pages should be fine.

Are you going to share which text made your site dive bomb from position 9?!

Testing is good, just set up few sites and test different methods on each.

It was a thin emd site and was relatively new. So bouncing around is completely normal and not really predictable.

However, the site looks like it went to page 2 after a day of leaving the SERPs from page 1.

This was simply from on page seo. Although the site is so new any alterations could have altered the SERPs.

I think I over optimized it though, I specifically added the primary keyword in an h2 tag and another commonly searched phrase into the body.

I changed the h2 back to normal and want to see if it goes back onto page 1.

Like I said this site made me 80$ in 2 weeks so I dont really like fucking with it.

Testing can get expensive pretty quick. Not saying don't do it (you need to to learn) but either test it by making money on the side or rank profitable keywords through testing
