Starting this journey with a very neutral mind. I won't doubt if this is possible or not because anything is possible, depending if it was tested until failure.

I've read about a lot of threads in this forum and others in Reddit for a couple of weeks.

As a newbie outside looking in, at first it seems there's a lot of technical stuff going on, especially when there are tons of abbreviation that doesn't make any sense at all. But as you read on, you get the meaning of those abbreviations and it's mostly about different affiliation networks or the monetization tools.

Ultimately you just have to build a website and know how to market it so that Google will rank your keywords and attract traffic into your website. As easy as the sound there are a lot of tricks to it and really have to carefully experiment with them in order to get results.

    To do list:

    1. Find niche. Maybe I have read enough, but I think this is kind of vague, as to how the niche will be saturated or not. For now I'll find something that I'm interested in without thinking too much.
    2. Get a domain for it. I don't think at this moment I'll get an aged domain. Rather I would get something that has the keyword about the niche. From what I have briefly read is that I can get an aged domain and 301 redirect to it. So I will just stop thinking about it too until I have found some niche that I want to be in.
    3. Write some articles. I think this might be the easy part for me because I have wrote a lot of documents and essay for my University in the past. Only problem is I don't know how many articles will be needed in order for us to see some decent traffic.
    4. Make the webpage. I think this is the easy part because there's a lot of templates out there. Especially when WordPress made web developing so much easier.
    5. Do backlinks. I've read and have some understanding about it, but of course without practicing, I won't know how it really performs. I've read something about GSA SER, but afraid off the punishments because I'm still new and afraid that I can leave footprints easily, so I might do some more research before I do this.

Enough chatting for now, it's time for me to put this to work and update more on myself and progress later. See you soon!

I want to borrow this guy's line. No waste time, work !

    A little update for tonight:

I have found a niche that I am interested in, maybe I will find some more niche that are related to it. Now I am going to find a domain and research on keywords that are not too saturated and and can easily be beatable. I have thought about some long tails keywords I can use, but have yet to be researched. I heard keyword shitter is some good stuff to come out with more keywords, I am going to try tomorrow. Do you guys have any recommendation for software that is good for researching about keywords and it's saturation?

I made one 600 words about my niche related topic post just right now to kick start things. I suppose I will try and make 10 articles non stop by tomorrow and see how it goes. As far as the theme goes, I chose one that looks quite clean and seemed very supportive to different plugins and etc.

I have decided Clickbank and Adsense will be my currently monetizing tool. Going to research more and see if I can add some more other stuffs to do maximize the chance of building revenue.

For my end, I want to try and make at least 50 articles before selling the affiliate stuffs. For backlinking, I am still not quite sure what to do yet, but I will research more about that.

That's it for now and off to sleep.
