how was the experience of earning your first money?

My first job was when I was 14 years old (1998), I found near my house a place where a woman made adaptors for TV, similar of this: https://http2.mlstatic.com/D_NP_922801-MLB20416020525_092015-Q.jpg

The woman took pieces dismantled from the factory and in her house had a production line that assembled the pieces, only underage people worked with her, the reason being that she paid very, very low and for that reason no adult worked for her.

I worked there for about 3 years, 8 hours a day, do you know how much I earned there? guess what? $ 16 per month

of course times changed, $ 16 at that time was worth about $ 100 today in my country, but even then it was very little

(sorry my english, not may main language)

so, this was my first job, now tell your

I wouldn't consider this to be my first job, but i earned my first $ by selling marbles to a bunch of kids when i was 13 or 14. Earned like $10 and spent it on Yu-Gi-Oh cards. My first real job tho was in a manufacturing company when i was 18. Worked there for about 7 months by earning $300/month. It sucked, my back hurt like hell, lol. Since the day i quit that job, i've only been doing online jobs so far. Personally i got nothing against labour, i'll gladly do it again no prob if things get slow online (which can happen anytime).

I still remember my first job is helping my father do the printing since 7 years old. My father teach me how to mix the ink colour, how to check the printing machine when cannot function. The difficulty of this job is everyday you need to afford smell of ink because too smelly and your nose can't afford easily if you didn't experience before.

Now my father became older day by day, I'm decide to help him continue his business in this end of the year and try to do more hardwork on his business and expand his business as many as I can. :)

Pizza delivery boy... Still doing this, waiting to the turning point that might come in a few months

I am ancient compared to most on here.

I started working when I was 12. Bailing hay and shoveling manure. Hard to imagine a 12 year old throwing 40-60lbs bales in 90 degree weather for hours on end. No need for a gym back in those days.

I'm 28, and started working when I was 11, helping my parents on the weekends, evenings and summers with labor intensive chores around the property and cabin. This included:
  • Chopping down smaller trees and cutting them into logs with an axe, maul, hatchet and set of steel wedges
  • Using a pickaxe and set of shovels to carve a set of steps into a rocky hillside over the course of a summer
  • Building a beautiful, 150-foot long, 18-inch high stone wall
  • Spreading dozens of tons of gravel and rip-rap along either side of the driveway
  • Planting hundreds of daylilies (always was Mom's favorite) and laying bag upon bag of red mulch on a large hillside
  • Building (with Dad) a smaller scale model of the cabin out in a remote piece of the property surrounded by trees for Mom to read and relax
We did so many great projects, and it was an incredible learning experience and was great bonding time with Mom, Dad and my sister and I. I would not trade those days for anything in the world.

My first paying job was when I was 15, in between my sophomore and junior year of high school, and I wanted to make some cash, so I got a job at a hybrid mini golf course, ice cream parlor, and tanning salon in my hometown. I was paid under the table every day.

That job was awesome. I got to wake up super early and walk the mini golf course, wash off the golf balls that were sitting in stagnant water, make and eat some homemade ice cream treats, and I saw many a naked female classmate through haphazardly-closed tanning booth curtains. The mini golf course made next to no money, the ice cream parlor did okay, and the real money maker were the backwoods high school girls and single moms getting microwaved in the back rooms.

It was owned by an ex-army man, late 20s at the time, with serious PTSD and an honorable discharge. He spent his days swigging vodka and downloading porn from LimeWire in the back room.

Since then, my progression has been:
  • Sonic Drive-In line cook
  • Subway sandwich artist
  • Radio Shack parts runner
  • College English department paper pusher
  • Casino Finance intern
  • Banquet server
  • Hotel front desk clerk
  • Bellhop and valet parker
  • Marketing analyst for direct mail service
  • Financial analyst for financial services company
  • Project coordination for same financial company
  • Marketing analyst for multibillion-dollar logistics enterprise
  • Digital marketing manager for same logistics company
Can't wait to see what the next 13 years have in store.

My first job is Sales and marketing in offline store with target . That was really hard to achieve monthly targets ..
