I want to know something very important about subdomains, lets say i wanna create 20 website, in 1 domain, so if i create every website in a separate subdomain, will this hurt may ranking?
    EXAMPLE: domain is official[dot]com
and i created 5 websites in different niches, to be like:
    football.official[dot]com
    acne.official[dot]com
    fifa13.official[dot]com
    howtomakemoney.official[dot]com
    playmafia2.official[dot]com
(These are just examples for the basic idea, and i will create a full website with categories in each subdomain)
So, will this hurt may ranking in every keyword?

I would think you want each site to be by itself, but as an add-on domain of the main domain. If that's the case, you'll be fine. The only time I would use an actual subdomain is if it's like help.niche.com, or forum.niche.com

I don't think this will hurt your ranking as long as you're playing by the rules.

it's fine and it will rank. However, if the main domain gets penalized...the help.com, everything will get penalized if it's linked together. (I have no personal experience from this happening, but from what I've read I can see how this is the case.) Another culprit in having all the sites under one sub domain is the footprint it leaves. You wouldn't want compititors finding all your websites and hyjack your keywords/niches.

As stated above, if your main domain gets penalized you will get penalized on all of them.

Worst part is unless your domain is an authority site your subdomains will have a real hard time getting ranked. I have personal experience with this and subdomains seem to be crap to get ranked especially on new domains.
