Teamviewer alternative?

Is there any alternative to Teamviewer that's free?

Problem with Teamviewer is that it's only free for so much usage, and often the connection gets lost and stuff like that.

The lap top I'm connecting to has windows, and my lap top also has windows, so maybe there's a windows-to-windows native connection or something I can use? Or any program really, that I can use for free.

Anydesk best alternative to teamviewer, using it its working better then teamviewer. just i was having one problem in setting, on top bar when session start to go to keyboard icon and select map 1:1 so it will use your keyboard layout. ( was having problem keyboard sometimes stop working on client pc ) was fix with the map 1:1 select.
For stable connection, when setting up and connect : use performance, not quality, that way if some part side has slow internet at the moment it will not disconnect you.

One question, I have a lap top at a family member's house that's turned on 24/7 and only I use it. So I basically need to be able to connect and disconnect at will.

Can I do that with AnyDesk? And it will stay open and allow me to connect/disconnect whenever I want.
 
Anydesk gets most of after teamviewer.

on side note: Teamviewer is unlimited if you connect to computer using Direct ip address, LAN or WAN.

yes to be able to connect to that laptop it will need to be turned on 24/7 and runing anydesk server on that pc,and you will use anydesk client on your end, i using the same method at friend pc from another country, to do the graphic work on his pc remotely.
 
Logmein for third party. For windows to windows, mstsc works awesome.
