Hi,

Something weird is happening with JP+FB.

If launching ads for JP, ad acc dies immediately.

Doesnt matter, if page like, traffic ad,text or no text, picture of sky, cat, dog , whatever...

If Japan is selected as target country, acc is dead.

Anyone facing same issue? or have a solution, please let me know!

Japanese policy on network information is almost very difficult for business people like meta, because the target and audience are tightened, leading to the advertisement just posting will be banned immediately, you should try to create a test campaign about trees for the Japanese market to know if the advertisement is approved or not.

Your product may be restricted in Japan, this country is heavily restricting current advertising for consumers using meta, try hiding the website

It seems that your account is flagged. You need to check again and change to a new account. Japanese schools are very strict, you need to review your business products as well

I understand that you are facing a difficult situation when running Facebook ads targeting the Japanese market. The fact that your ad account is immediately "dead" when selecting Japan as the target country is a serious problem and needs to be solved.

In Japan, you should run the interaction target to get comments and then proactively text for advice.

By resetting and choosing other accounts to test, you can attempt to switch the network device. due to the possibility that your address is examined excessively. However, I think it's odd that the sky remains frozen even when you upload images of kittens and dogs. You ought to attempt swapping out the Facebook social profile, restarting the machine, and switching out the network equipment.

It looks like Facebook has strict automated filters for JP-targeted ads, possibly due to policy changes or high-risk flagging. You could try warming up the ad account with other GEOs first or using a trusted agency account. Anyone else found a workaround?

If you're launching Facebook ads targeting Japan and your ad account dies immediately, it's likely due to Meta's strict ad review system for JP campaigns. This issue happens regardless of ad type, text, or image, suggesting that Facebook has flagged Japan as a high-risk region, possibly due to past policy violations or increased scrutiny on new advertisers.

To avoid instant bans, try warming up the account with white-hat campaigns targeting other countries first, then gradually introduce Japan. Use an aged Business Manager with a strong spending history, ensure your payment method is clean, and consider running ads from a verified JP-based page. Additionally, test running the same ads but targeting a broader region that includes Japan rather than exclusively selecting it.

You should change all information from Facebook, IP, Mail compared to old accounts to avoid being marked from Meta

Recently, Japan has experienced a high rate of fraudulent advertising, they are implementing stricter regulations. Check your product to make sure it complies with regulations.

It's possible that your target audience in Japan violates our policies. Try using bait ads without any targeting.

If your ad account keeps getting restricted, try resetting your network, using a different device, and switching Facebook profiles. Frequent scans of your address might be triggering issues. Even harmless content can be flagged, so consider adjusting targeting or reviewing Facebook’s policies.

Maybe you should check your account reputation. If the account is new, it is very sensitive, you should use and build the account slowly.
