I'm not sure if this is possible but I found a Facebook page that has some of its fans that I would like to have them follow me or vice versa but on my Facebook profile and not a fan page.

I have tried to see if I could follow some of those fans and hope they follow back but many don't have their "follow" option public.

Is there any way to achieve this?

There's a 5000 limit. Also I don't think they would want someone adding them as a friend from another country.

I'm actually targeting them for a site of mines, best bet would be to follow them or somehow target those users on that page but sadly since I'm using my profile instead of a page, it doesn't look possible :/

Why not create a page for your site?

You can friend anyone, regardless of the country they live in. Just don't friend a whole lot of them at once. Keep it in moderation and you'll be just fine.

It's a personal site, not a branded domain. So I feel I wouldnt have to worry much about social media but rather use my personal profile. If I was starting a business then I would get a brand name domain and fb page.

My issue with this is that I don't want random people on my Facebook as well. For like future purposes including that there is a limit of only having 5000 friends and currently I'm not that far ahead of the total so won't work for me.

Following them won't do anything. They're not going to follow you back in most cases and a lot of people do not allow people to follow them make a page about yourself target with ads

Guess there is no other option except making a page. Thought I could avoid that aspect.

I just realized that one can convert a personal profile to a business/fan page. Thing is apparently nothing else is moved over except only your profile picture and the friends become likes....that was a 2013 article, anyone knows It changed where now everything gets moved??

Thanks although some articles are conflicting, some say your profile gets deleted completely and then another says both profile and page will be available. Will probably try it out on a test fb account

Yeah I've seen it now, pity still doesn't do what I need. Maybe Facebook ads will help with targeting those users of that page if I decide to create a fb page
