Hi,

i got my hands on a very decent keyword, high search volume and only 10k competing pages and a high CPC,

it have to do with something in a UK city, the exact .org is still available, but there is some local sites ranking on the front page that got me thinking about going for a .co.uk domain,

What do you think guys ?

co.uk would be more targeted towards the city, my advice would be getting a .co..uk rather than .org since org is less targeted. These things matter in google's eyes.

host32 your doing a lot of keyword research today lol,

Yeah, totally agree with accelerator. If your doing targeting UK people try and get the .co.uk - should help with the geo-locating of the search (ie people in UK get more relevant sites). All things being equal between a .co.uk and a .com the .co.uk would "win" (be higher in the SERPS).

As far as im am lead to believe this is the way they (google) are moving forward, trying to make local search a big thing which can hinder some people and help others.

(Note to self: Stop using so many bl00dy brackets!). GD!!!
