Hi guys, I'm relatively new to SEO, and this site is an absolute bloody goldmine of info! I've got a quick question and I'd be really greatful for any feedback. I've recently been trying out methods of automating my link-building for micro-niche sites. I've had some success (a few top 3 rankings) through manual link building but it's just so tedious. Is it better to focus on niche-related domains for building tier 1 pages, or does it not make any worthwhile difference? So for example, let's say my site was about "Travel," is it going to benefit me more if I publish a blog (as part of a diverse collection of properties) on "Travelblog" rather than a travel-related article on a Squidoo lens? Or can backlinks be just as powerful from generic domains as long as the content is contextual? I'd be so grateful for any help on this. Thanks, Dan. P.S. I'm talking about this in the context of big link-building tools like SeNUKE and Article Demon.
