I've been using FollowLiker on two different Twitter accounts with the same niche, trying to figure out which settings are most effective. Following Users following or the people who retweet/favorite them as that would seem like to almost guarantee an active Twitter user. I can only follow so many people per day so I'm trying to decide whether or not I should do both (follow users following + people who retweet/favorite) or just stick with one of them to maximize my follows per day.

Curious to know what works best for you guys?

I am using manual method. I only follow people who are active(RT and FAV) and that is IMO better choice than following users following.

Wait wait, i think you're a bit confused.

The second feature is for following people who retweet/fav a query that can be tags/hashtags , you're not following people who retweet/fav an specific user. There is a BIG difference right there

Following brings more if you filter to follow the ones with activity within last 7 days or so.
