That was a long title, ain't it? We sleep almost 8 hours per day which means 1/3 of our lives are spent sleeping. So if in my age now, I've slept about 8 years of my time. A scary thought, especially for me. The answer? Polyphasic sleeping! I'm not going to go into extreme details here but polyphasic sleeping has already been tried and tested by many. The hardest part is when you're starting out but once you get used to it, you can sleep a total of 2 hours per day without any decline in energy and focus. This is a journey thread that I'll be updating everyday after every full-day cycle. Here's how it's going to go down: Every cycle, I would sleep 20 minutes and ONLY 20 minutes. These naps will spread out the whole day for 6 instances -- 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm. Updates on this thread and another journey thread (IM) will be given every 10pm, letting everyone know the effects of the schedule on me, the quality of focus I have for work, etc. The goal is to be able to PERFECTLY sleep in these schedules for 30 consecutive days. Another nap can be inserted whenever I feel soooooooo sleepy (like my head's falling on the keyboard already) but only 1 additional nap. Without further ado... Let's start. It's already 10:53PM my time so nap will be in 3 hours. I have to lie on the bed at least 15minutes before the schedule so I can lull my brain to sleep. Let's do this!
