    Yeah I've seen them on Desktop search too. I don't know how they do it though

    Haven't seen on desktop, but on mobile it's been mostly pointless and shit. I'm assuming they're trying to draw out relevancy tags that aren't in the headline to help users pick between more targeted results. Takes up a lot of room though.

    Yeah relevancy is the key here. But I highly doubt they are using user generated tags. Because user generated tags can be abused just like kw stuffing in the past.
