    hey guys,

Does anyone have any experience with using chatterboxes(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chatterbot)? I'm thinking about making an IRC bot or similar.

    I'm thinking about using this:http://www.alicebot.org/downloads/programs.html

Should I learn lisp? I know it has some relevance to AI, and that in the long run it would make me a better programmer, but
Would the time I take learning it give me an advantage in this specific case or should I simply stick with good "old" C#/Ruby/etc (aka languages I am more familiar with)?

Right now, $$$ (so, well speed) takes precedence over learning, very unfortunately.

    Thanks BHW.
