    Hey guys,

maybe anyone made some experience on that.
When your visitor uses tablet, is it a better idea to send him to your mobile or desktop site to have better conversion rates?

Both would go because the resolution and size is fine but it not so easy to find out what really is better and maybe someone already made a case study or something similar.

I can't say what's better conversion-wise. I just know that when i'm on my tablet, i hate it when i'm forced to use the mobile version of any site by default, because most of the time there are less functions and the layout is not so well thought, it's really for mobile. A 8 inch tablet is big enough to view the desktop version of sites. But it's just me, maybe other tablet users think differently.

But wait a sec, :) maybe i can give you some more useful insight. If i'm thinking about it, most sites use the desktop version for sure and only a few of the sites show the mobile version by default, at least out of those i frequent.

One thing though, if you go with the mobile view, make sure that switching to desktop view is easy to find, hassle-free and not in some hidden part of the website. :)
