Having issues w/ trying to do a meta refresh w/ T202

Here's my situation currently,

User comes to the landing page w/ the T202 variables in the url.
Landing page meta refreshes.
T202 tracks all the variables on its end.
If/when user clicks out to the aff. offer page, t202 doesn't track it.

Originally my developer had the t202 script on the page before the meta refresh and after the meta refresh. We thought the issue was the t202 script after the meta refresh (it ended up replacing the variables t202 originally tracked with a brand new cookie, which contained no variables - excuse me if my php/developer talk/knowledge is off - i know extremely little php). However, this would still track a user clicking out to the offer page, but t202 would track that user as a separate user (one w/o the t202 variables). Anyhow, the 2nd t202 script (after the meta-refresh) was deleted, thinking this would resolve the issue (unfortunately it hasn't).

Anyone experience this issue before or have any insight ? :)

what's a dmr? You'll have to excuse if I ask newbish questions (i'm still relatively new to aff marketing :( )

My goal was just to clean the url up so when the user hits the landing page, they don't see http://www.abc.com/123t202abcsdf. Instead, they just see http://www.abc.com after t202 has time to grab the information it needs

When a visitor comes to a website by clicking on a link (like from a search engine) the receiving website can see in it?s logs where the visitor came from.
Not only that, it can see from which page in a website it came or what the visitor searched for before it clicked the link in i.e. Google.

To hide this from your affiliates or merchants you can get rid of this info (that is transmitted in the header info when going from site to site).

Usually a double meta refresh script comes in 2 parts.
The 1st part cleans the referrer info from the header info.
The 2nd checks if this info is gone and sends the traffic to the merchant?s URL that you insert into the 2nd script.
When not clean it will send the traffic to a safe URL (also indicated by you in the 2nd script) like Google or Yahoo.

For the receiving site it will look as if the visitor typed the URL in the address bar to get there (type-in traffic).

Be careful with this as these days a lot of companies or merchants get suspicious when all your traffic look like this.
Especially if your CTR is higher than average.
