Its recommended to have hosting in multiple c class subnets. That could get rather expensive for the person who is not making a lot yet. Currently I have the hostgator package with unlimited domains, but will need to buy some hosting elsewhere.

Can anybody recommend any good solutions for having multiple c class websites at a semi-affordable price?

There are lots of cheap hosting packages out there! Use 2 domains on each host!

Or you could buy a re-seller package where you get so many dedicated IP's

why to go for seo hosting
rather you should host your site on various different hosting companies
that will be cheaper then SEO hosting you get different ip and all your eggs wont be in a same basket
so if one site goes down still other sites will be making $$

Just google $1 hosting and you will find plenty of hosts that offer $1 per month hosting. Better to go with many different hosts than SEO hosting.

I have been very pleased with servinio.com's shared hosting best package. And it's very cheap.

SEO hosting. Just the name alone means the SE's are keeping an eye out for it.

As a couple of others say, Hosting for under $3 a month is all over the place. Lots offer $25 a year or less if you pay up front.
Get 20 of those to start with - even better, if you have the time, just get 1 a week so they don't all have the same site registration or re-registration date on the domains you host on them.
By the fall (Autumn) you could have 25 sites up and the cost would hardly be noticeable taken week by week.

If you are looking for PBN hosting then go with cheap shared hosting, otherwise you can use SEO hosting.

When you pay yearly, you can get a pretty good discount. So go for cheap offshore hosting [offshore means more cheap] with yearly plan.

I pay $5-$10/yr for hosting for PBN's. Sure, sometimes the host dies, and you lose your money. It's worth it to me, to have true diversity in hosting, rather than using "SEO hosts".
I find offers at webhostingtalk.
