T-shirt copy right issue

Hi,
I'm setting up shopify tee shirt store and wants to find out about copyright on some of the NFL shirts.
I saw one of the design below for Cincinnati Bengals. No logo image but it's using "Bengals" text.
Is it illegal?

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

I recently asked reddit a similar question, though mine was regarding a Harry Potter logo rather than text. You might find some of the information useful, though.

I'm no lawyer but I don't think they could trademark the word "bengal." However, the term "bengal nation" might be another story. If I were you, I'd post a similar thread on that subreddit that I linked too so you can actually get some advice from people who know what they're talking about.
