I am looking to hear fellow members thoughts on syndicating your own blog to other platforms. I have a plugin that will syndicate all my blogs from my site to Twitter, WP, Blogger and many other social engagement platforms and I just want to make sure I am not shooting myself in the foot. Since it is coming from my website and it will obviously be duplicate content (from my blog) but it is beeing posted on my platforms for the site in question. Will the G know this is from the main companies pages and we are just passing on information to our networks or think we are trying to scam?

Maybe I should the link back to the site say something like By domainnameinquestion? or By Kick rocks company? Thoughts/oppinions?

This is one reason why I think it is OK. It all makes sense... Read the article and then watch the video

I feed news items and 'blog' posts to Facebook and Twitter for many sites. It certainly helps with fast indexing if you have a decent volume of likes/followers, and it does seem to give a small boost to ranking on those pages. I've never experienced any negative effects.

For many business sites, I create a news.domain.com Subdomain with a blog which is auto-fed by my own software (spun content prepared in advance.) then those posts are fed via RSS to a linked twitter account and Facebook fan-page. Works for me!

Well, just put article excerpt on social networks, not whole article, with link to your site.

Use social networks to bookmark/update status from your sites. It's a good deal.
