If anyone has used this site they will know what I mean. Just blew £125 on it. I managed to win a 500 bid voucher for £90.

So armed with 560 bids (over £250 worth) I started bidding on a PS3. Of all the PS3's to bid on some other idiot won it with over 1000 bids. Now I checked the previously sold PS3's and nothing is even close to 1000 bids. Talk about bad luck! :zx11pisse

I'm £800 in the red in my bank account now, need some quick money. Anyone got any free lance work needs doing? Or autoblogs set-up?

holy crap! I've never heard of that site but I just took a look. They must be making BANK! They're making $.59 for every penny that's bid. There's an ipad on there now going for over $19. Assuming they start the bids at $.01, they've still made at least $650 just on that one item. And that's assuming they pay retail. Damn!

I tried making a bunch of swoopo clones a year ago and failed hard. I have respect for them lol, im not sure how much they spend on adverts but they are the kings of pay per bid auctions

Yep they must be loaded. But the site should have a disclaimer saying this is not an auction site, it's a bloody gambling site!!!

I had a look at it a few months back the thing about the site is that everyone bids on the pricey items. Where as hardly anyone is bidding on the smaller items say like a PS3 controller were being sold for pennies or with no one bidding on them at all. and they were selling on ebay for about $50 at the time. But i never tried it, it prob wasnt that easy anyway.

Sites like swoopo and madbid make so much money. I once saw an auction for £800 + 33 bids on madbid last for easily a week!

sites like swoopo make money, cause your not always bidding against another person, usually more often then not, your bidding against a computer or algorithm on the other end that's put in place so swoopo and other sites like it win...it's a scam, don't ever EVER try and use these sites, or you'll end up like the OP here.
