So I recently purchased a food page. Great price. Fantastic name. 12k followers. Getting about 400-600 likes per pic without tags. While the name is very food generic, the page only posts desert pics. I would love to flip it to a nutrition and health food page. How do I do this without pissing off all the fatties looking for cake shots?

Maybe show skinny people eating cake. Best of both worlds.

Fat girls feeding skinny guys cake. Hit the porn food fetish market too.

Mix it in slowly or go from 0-100, it doesn't really matter. The fatties who are looking for way to get fatter will leave your page, no matter how you do it. You can try keeping them by posting some desserts now and then.

How about you star postings desserts that are healthy that people can have on a diet and then slowly merge it into the other niche that you'd like to cater the page towards.

No, that's not what I meant.
Just wanted to point out, that no matter how you do it, you will loose some followers.

If I were you I'd mix it in slowly because there are a lot of healthy cakes and deserts.

    That's a simple one: You don't.

Create another page for healthy food. Let the hungries have their cakes.

Try making some tests first, for example a photo of 1 cake and something healthy. Ask them to like for cake, comment for healthy shit... just to see how it goes and get an idea of what they want.

I generally would agree with bart. That being said, try posting delicious looking healthy deserts. Then slowly transition into pictures of dinners and desert together, and then once people have grown accustomed to the new style: eliminate deserts altogether
