What are your experiences on taking an aged account --lets say a generic fitness account with 5K somewhat active followers, changing the name and posts, and making it a company page that sells hand-stitched soccer balls, a person's fitness lifestyle page, or whatever-- so that my larger 20K account could shout it out, and the company page would immediately seem legit and trustworthy with tons of followers.

    Good Idea? Bad Idea? Foolish?

Usually as long as you aren't switching from like inspirational quotes to naked girls.. You should be good to go. You may loose a handfull of followers. Just weigh the pros and cons. If it was me when switching niches. The more generic the better.

its a good idea if your larger account is also in soccer niche, but the generic fitness account will loose followers at first for sure. fitness freaks and soccer freaks are two different types
