I bought a domain about an hour ago, transferred the DNS servers as well as added the domain to my hosting. I also installed WordPress on the new site, but whenever I go to it, the site is blank, and the URL shows up as domains.googlesyndication.com/etc.etc...why is it doing this? Thanks for any help.

Are you sure that you modified the name servers and uploaded content to the new hosting?

Also, try clearing your cache or rather forceful reload by holding ctrl F5.

Changing the DNS might take 24-48 hours to complete, but usually it wont take so long. Check: HostGator >> DNS Information, they explain that in details.

the DNS servers needs 12-24 hours to propagate, Wait for tomorrow, and update the thread, I had that problem once, And it was fixed 24 hours later.

Ah OK, I wasn't aware it would take that long. I'll update later on whether or not it's fixed, thanks. :)

if your issue isnt resolved yet
then make sure you delete the default files which are created when you add a new domain to your hosting account

It still doesn't show Wordpress or anything. What's even more strange is if I go to the site on my phone, to the mobile version, it shows Wordpress is installed and everything is working...

Have you tried to use different browsers to see if they load your website?

Yes. Three different browsers and they all show the same thing. The only way it works is if I go to the mobile site.

I have a feeling that you installed or corrupted your theme or plugin, i mean that might be theme or plugin faulty. Have you tried a fresh WP install to see if problem persists?

Edit: If you eager to install fresh WP, before that upload simple php file with some simple code, to check if this not a server side problem, but you saied that WP works on the mobile site, you can skip this step or just make a simple test it wont take long to check this.

All I've done is installed WordPress, nothing more...I just reinstalled it to see if it would fix the issue, but nothing happened. I can still see Wordpress on mobile, but it directs me to domains.googlesyndication.com :(
