Sweetfunny, do the right thing: Offer ScrapeJet for $17 to those that bought ScrapeBoard

Sweetfunny,

I feel ripped off. I bought ScrapeBoard thinking that it would be constantly updated and supported, but it's been abandoned. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way.

Do the right thing and compensate those that bought ScrapeBoard by offering them ScrapeJet for $17 or free.

Anybody else agree?

I was lucky I was going to jump onto scrapeboard but I actually went on holidays for 2 weeks by the time I got back the reviews were starting to vary. So I waited and never ended up buying. I no longer like xrummer either but thats a different kettle of fish.
 
I totally agree, I bought scrapeboard in the hopes it would become a tool to behold. Whats scrapejet ? If its suppose to be a replacement forget $17 scrapeboard owners should get it free.
 
+1 For this, I Never Really Used Scrapeboard after Purchase.
Well, 17$ Would be a great deal for Scrape Jet.
Never Dream of getting it for free guys :)
 
If you buy sjet for 2 people (u can have 2 computers runing same time) its like $20 per person. Dont be silly and dont beg for change.
Sboard isnt abandoned, is still under development but theres no point to release small updates. Im mad as hell for devs to delay it and keep it useless after one year after purchase but come on, this kind of topic? Are you serious?

ScrapeBoard is still too experimental to be used.
Maybe that will be the same thing with ScrapeJet...

$3? It's $47 right now.

She personally told me in a e-mail that she is going to "scale down updates" on scrapeboard and only fix it when she has too, such as fixing the harvester when yahoo makes changes etc.

New functions? Don't think so.
Fix e-mail verifier? Don't think so.

Fix the harvester from not crashing after 4-5 million? She said she is going to re-write the whole harvester so maybe.

I too bought it, but we must remember that it was never officially released, caveat emptor & all that, write if off to experience. I'll wait until SJ is developed a bit more before jumping in this time (and I've alreadt no NHSEO)

If it's not officially released why sell it? It was sold on their website, I see that as officially released.

When she sold it she never called it beta or anything.

In my point of view, when it was sold on their website it was officially released but then she changed her mind and removed it from her website.

Damn, I bought it based on expectation of updates. I guess I lost around $100 then.
 
From reading the posts I saw on Blackhatworld, Scrapeboard was always "beta" or "in development". I never got the impression that Scrapeboard was a finished product that would be updated regularly.

But when you go to this site (which I assume is the official site for Scrapeboard) then it DOES give a different impression.

This begging for updates is so annoying.
Why forcing an update when there are not enough changes made for an update?
Do you want that the letter a will be changed tob, so there is a new update?
How many times are far more expensive programs updates, lets say xrumer? Are you also all begging there for updates?

There is no doubt that scrapebox is one of the most useful tools. On the other hand, scrapeboard is not.

I dont see how people think that there was no official release. What do you mean official release?BHW BST? Sweetfunny has a website where scrapeboard was being sold. If it was "leaked", paypal gives the option to refund.

So no official release, beta versions etc etc is just a bag of ****. There is a website and a pay button. End of story.

I dont care about a discount but i would expect sweetfunny to support his software or give some kind of explanation.

I checked looplines thread about scrapeboard and i was surprised to see that he actually claimed that it works and its very good..lol
 
I think this thread should be retitled Offer refund for Scrapeboard rather than scrapejet for a discount which I couldn't give a cr*p about to be honest. If BH SEO were as easy as just pressing one button, then we would all be rich.

I read the website and I bought after reading as Quick Flip quoted that there would be regular updates. Also I did not expect SBoard to be so shit compared to Scrapebox. But then again simply filling in one form and pressing submit is very, very different from an intelligent register/activator/edit profile/forum poster etc etc

I find it funny the "who wins" threads between Sweetfunny and Botmaster. Are you f'ing kidding me? I can scrape (no exaggeration) 10 times faster with hrefer than with scrapebox, and rip through impossible numbers of footprints that would require individual scrapes in sbox. The sb standalone link checker crashes f'ing all the time on me. Compare its equivalent links database analysis in xrumer. I can rip through lists of TENS OF MILLIONS of URLs and leave it running on f'ing 1000 threads for months on end, as stable as the minute i pressed start. Then comes xrumer itself, it rarely if ever crashes in the non-beta versions. Sbox crashes all the time. Botmaster may be extremely unhelpful and generally not give a crap about us little guys, but he's damn talented I will give him that.
