    Hey peeps,

So here is the story. Back in May/June I bought a forum from a guy over on DP. The package that I bought was for the domains, website and a vbulletin account which contained 2 vbulletin suite licenses and also cometchat.

As the vbulletin licenses had already been transferred to the guy I was buying off he was unable to transfer them to me so instead he just passed over the whole account with passwords etc.

Everthing had been fine for the last few months but then due to other projects taking off I decided to sell one of my forums on DP. I listed the site for sale but stated that it would not include the vbulletin license although I was happy to leave it pointing to the site for a while until they could source their own license.

Somebody bought the forum and paid me through paypal and then started harrassing me to download plugins for him. When I tried to login to vbulletin I found that I was unable to login to my account. The guy who I sold the site to then decided to email vbulletin to tell them that I didn't have a valid license for the sites I was running because I was unable to download things for him.

Vbulletin have now suspended my account and even contacted my hosting company to inform them that I don't have licenses for my sites. I have contacted the guy who I initially bought the account from and he has been worse than useless so I am now starting to wonder whether he has either got vbulletin to reset the passwords as the account was in his name or whether the account was dodgy in the beginning. He is now no longer replying to my messages.

    What should I do?

Just use a nulled version. These are always updated and free and safe.

Backup your site, db, etc. - takes 5 mins
Sign up to a new host - takes 5 mins
    Restore everything - 5 mins

There you go. New host and a nulled version. All done in about 15 mins.
