Hello xxxxxxxx,

Your eBay account has been suspended due to our concerns for the safety of the eBay Community.

All of your current listings have been removed from eBay, and any remaining fees that are on your account are due immediately. These fees will be charged using the billing method that you currently have on file.

Please note that you're not allowed to use eBay in any way during your suspension. This includes registering a new account or using another existing account. Doing so may result in your permanent suspension.

To have your account considered for reinstatement, please reply to this email. We will then contact you with a brief list of requirements that you'll need to take care of before we can consider reinstating your account.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

eBay Trust & Safety team

Yes, it is their typical canned bullshit suspension notice that covers any suspicious activity. Basically it's a suspension before you actually violate their TOS just because they believe you might do something in the future.

Any luck getting reinstated....For this suspension, I THINK they will ask for verifyign information..

Thank you for contacting eBay in regards to your account suspension.

I've looked into the situation and see that your account was suspended
until we're able to verify your account information.

If you'd like to appeal your suspension, you can begin the process by
faxing a letter of appeal to:

eBay, Attention: B001 Appeals
Fax number: (801) 880-7018

In your letter of appeal, please include the following:

1. The email address and User ID of the account you're appealing.
2. A copy of the front and back of your driver's license or other
government-issued identification.
3. A recent credit card statement or utility bill that shows your
billing address. (You can black out your account numbers.)
4. Copies of manufacturer invoices or any other documentation showing
your purchase or ownership of items listed for sale. This includes any
related documentation from suppliers.

-- Important --
Please make sure that all copies are clearly legible and include your
User ID and email address.

What's the next step after you fax the letter of appeal?

Once you've submitted your appeal, reply to this email with a brief
message notifying us of your appeal. As soon as we've reviewed your
material, we'll contact you by email regarding the status of your
appeal.

-- Note --
For your security, all of the documents you submit will be destroyed
after your appeal has been reviewed.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
xxxxxxxxxxx

eBay Fraud Prevention

wow, who keep receipts for all the stuff they sell on ebay? and how can you prove you bought an electronic item if you created it or something. Sounds pretty gay to me. Good luck getting that fixed.

Does anyone know if ebay attempts to validate any of the information?

Have you done anything to get banned? Since you are looking for information about this on Black Hat World I think you may have.
