I'm planning on making a small survey site from which people receive a free trial to, say, a weight loss supplement if they answer some random questions correctly (of course what they answer is irrelevant because they will still end up "winning" the free trial.). Has anyone had any experience with something of this nature? How did it work out for you?

Perhaps your friend didn't market it properly? I'm planning to market it locally only using a sports team my local area is obsessed about. In other words the survey questions will be about this said sports team.

i dont think so. surveys dont try to attract people. what attract people the most are the ones that they learn something out of.

entertainment information or a service is what drives people to your site. Your survey site would have to be VERY enticing to even get recoignized there are hundreds of the same kinds of sites, the "lagoon" brand being one of them.
