Hey guys, I've been a long time lurker but finally decided to join this awesome forum.

Anyway, to my question. I've been seeing a trend of "spiderman frozen elsa superhero movie in real life" videos on YouTube lately and was wondering how they get so many views SO FAST. I know it's most likely fake because some of these channels are new. I'm surprised YouTube didn't catch on to this yet.

I've done some keyword research on these videos to see if there is a low competition keyword they're ranking for but I end up with nothing. Has anyone else wondered this or am I the only one?

I would put links but I'm not sure if I'm allowed yet. But I'm pretty sure you've seen these videos around.

Nice first post. Either you're promoting your own Channel or you don't like that a competitor is doing something better then you. Go get back and make better videos..

How am I promoting my channel when I didn't mention it? And they're not really my competition. I have a decent method going thanks to a lot of research and experimenting. Was just was curious about the logistics of these channels and if anyone thought the same. Also wasn't sure if the method used by these channels were possible on YouTube. If so I'll be looking into the methods they use.

I know. I enjoy watching them too. Looking into the methods they use though. Very interesting.

That shouldn't be fake views i don't think. I think it's more of a trend since something like Superman vs Batman just came out.

I've tried keyword researh. I've even commented on thier videos. But no satisfying results. My method is to show up in the search then dominate in the suggestions. But that's difficult since the fact is the keywords they use are highly competitive. There's almost no way these channels have 100% legit views. And I don't say that out of hate. It's just so obvious. Like Ilias said 33 million views in 16 days. How is that really possible. I mean it could be mixture of fake and organic views which is fine. But now I'm intrigued and want to test this out but I don't want to get slammed by YouTube.

I've been thinking about just advertising my videos to small amount of views (5-10k) to my target audience. I can put my ad in the side bar and the rest should go from there. Does anyone have experience with YouTube ads?

Yea it's worth investigating because a lot of people thought this method was dead. One thing I did notice is their videos show up in a ton of playlists. Sometimes most of playlists come from one bogus channel. I have like no experience with black hat though so I'm trying to go white hat with YouTube ads. Does anyone have experience with advertising with YouTube.

Thanks Ilias! I'll be looking into more videos like these to learn more about how to use YouTube ads. It seems worth the investment.

Yea I remember seeing this channel around and wondered how he gets to use this method without YouTube giving him the boot. If they're allowed to do this then hey so will I.

You will be very unlikely to figure it all out folks, but you can chase this mysterious cart if you wish. Do keep in mind that since joining on January of last year - this account has racked up an astonishing:

This is not your average BHW youtube guy.

Davers you're right. I just thought I could figure it out based on some things I've noticed these channels doing. Like how these videos are seen in a TON of playlists. And most of the playlists are titled in a way to target specific keywords of this niche. I've seen like 20 playlists with these videos on ONE channel.

Anyway I'm not experienced with black hat so their black hat methods are way out of my league. I think I can pick up on some white hat methods though. And I also want to incorporate YouTube ads too. Currently in the process of testing YouTube ads out.

So I found out this niche pays between $10-$25 cpm in the USA other counties like Russia and Norway offer $20-$70 cpm it's that keyword combination of Spiderman and Elsa.

The problem is no one is actually typing Spiderman and Elsa videos into the youtube search. It's just too absurd and unusual to associate Elsa with Spiderman in the same sentence. I've been testing it naturally for the past few weeks other than my subscribers watching the videos no one outside of them is actually searching for my videos.

I've determined you must viewbot a couple million views to get your video suggested next to one of the popular ones. Before you can hope to gain real traffic.

Mystery Solved. This channel was created by two Youtubers who previously had over a million subscribers. They made this channel and attempted to keep it anonymous but their identities were revealed it was them beneath the masks, they were then on loads of different Youtube news and commentary channels including h3h3 all talking about this new channel and thats how they got loads of views

Sorry I just realised my last comment was wrong, the channel I was talking about was called "toy family" who were an imitation of the channel being talked about. They have 200 million views in total
